I worked with Bruce in 1995 at Uptown Comedy Corner in Atlanta. Bruce is the nicest guy…. Real talk. What you see here is 100%

His grandad sound just like mine. It took for me to grow up to realize he was the coolest dude in our family. Owned his his house, cars, and paid all his kid’s college and my grandma hasn’t worked since she was a teen, all while being a black man. Nothing but admiration for him

I remember I was in the Atlanta airport heading home for a funeral and I was in the food court sitting down to eat and shortly after sitting down I heard this voice say how are you doing my brother. It was Bruce Bruce right next to me. He just started talking to me like he knew me al of my life. He said he could tell I was going thru something and was just checking on. He was the coolest dude and I felt so much better after our conversation. I will always be gratteful😢for compassion and uplifting me at one of my lowest points. I will never forget it. Very good dude.

My grandmother was also very dark skinned, with royal blue eyes.. i knew exactly what he meant when he described his grandfather... There must have been a gene that ran thru our ancestors that gave them the DARK SKIN/ROYAL BLUE EYES combo. My grandmother was soooooo beautiful. Her eyes were absolutely amazing! 👑

Bruce Bruce is a legend, and one of my all-time favorites. He may not be on Comedy's Mount Rushmore, but he is consistent, has stood the test of time, and is a great gentleman. And an accurate representation of Atlanta.

Bruce Bruce - a REAL one!! Down to earth guy. Met him walking through the mall in Jackson, MS. I was cordial and simply asked him, "How are you doing?" I had my Packer gear on, and he said, "I like your team - come on and get you a picture. Thank you, Bruce!

Bruce Bruce is a natural! I have always loved listening to him even when he's telling a simple story it's hilarious!!! Not everyone is as engaging! I have been told I have a similar gift he is inspiring me and healing me with his words!!! He is not lying about women!!!! My best friend is short as hell you pulled all the tall ones around me had me looking stupid!!! He told me what do I have to lose or can she can say is no!!! When you grow up and NO is all you hear, it makes you gun shy and to get yourself a real good woman you can't be scared of getting shot down in Love!

Saw Bruce-Bruce live at Oxnard Levity Live 2017 and couldn’t stop laughing. The man is an underrated legend.
I met Bruce Bruce when I was a teenager - he was hosting a hair show in Birmingham. Thought we he saw me he was gonna start cracking jokes cause I had 8 big-azz dookie braids but he was kind, authentic and complementary. He gave me his business card of his manager. I was deejaying and he offered me a chance to open up for one of his shows. I lost the f'n card ... this was before the internet so I had no other way of reaching out... TRAGIC!!

Bruce Bruce is one of the funniest people on earth. Ever since he was on Comic View. A true legend.
These young boys that didn't grow up in the 70s, 80s, just don't know how dangerous it was back then. If you grew up in the hood at that time, you can't be nothing but a real G. We saw it all, we lived through it and made it.
I rarely finish full interviews, especially when they're an hour. I could've watched this one for 2. This was amazing.
My husband and I saw him in Charlotte. It was him, Martin, Deray, and some other comedians. He was the funniest on the show! He had us laughing so hard the entire time.
I use to work at the Comedy Club in Columbia,SC and Bruce Bruce was always such a nice person when he came. I can't say the same for some other comedians

I met Bruce Bruce in B’ham, AL 20 yrs ago. He came in the luggage store I was working in called Mori’s. He was flirting and asked if I shop at Forever21😂He said maybe 2-3 more sentences to me and all I ever remember is laughing and how he made me feel…HAPPY😊

Bruce Bruce is the funniest comedian I ever saw. I first saw him in the early 1990's, he was talking about the white folks versus the black folks in the choir. I grew up in a white church of about 25 people in the center of West Virginia. I swear he has been to that church. Our choir sounded exactly as he described. I think I laughed until I hurt myself. I've tried to find that skit many, many times since, but I can't. It is priceless!!! It didn't hurt, I married a black man from Detroit, and my name is Bruce also. I love you, dude! God bless you and yours!
