I was at an event and I was standing in a long line waiting to get a drink and he was kind enough to offer to go and get me a drink because he didn’t have to stand in line. He is a gentleman and a very kind human as far as I can see. I love the fact the he says, “I’ll never NOT do what I’ve always done.” We should never let the actions of others make us change who we are. That has been my motto for years. I love that DL talks about his mistakes in the past that haunt him, that is why I was so disappointed in Monique for using a story (of how he failed his daughter & how he is making up for it) against him. That was so deplorable & she was lying when she apologized (not sincere). I understand (somewhat) if she has beef with him, but to bring his daughter & wife into it, low.

This is one of the best conversations that I have heard from Mr. D.L. Hughley give. I’m 69 years old man, and I know what fear can do to some people. That part of the conversation needs to be addressed more often. Fear grows low self esteem, and only as a born again Christian have I realized my ignorance of being fearful of something that didn’t happen yet or may never happen. As far as Mo’Nique and Katt Williams go, there is more there than meets the eye, and it saddens me of the ignorance that is being displayed from all that’s involved. I have grown up seeing this kind of behavior, and what do it serve to belittle one another. I hope that all that reads this understand when we as a culture act negatively against one another it’s putting on a show for the few that thinks we are less than. Think and look back and learn, the show is in Hollywood, politics, music, and in general. Much Love from an 69 year old Afro-American.

Just spent the most thought provoking and enjoyable time watching this than I’ve had in literally years! D. L. is someone I follow because of his intelligence and politics, I’ve never seen him perform so I can’t address his comedy. When Jason runs for State Legislator and wants a picture of a wife and children on the pamphlet I’ll pose as his grandmother in the background! He had some great advice for Jason.
I love Mo’nique. I do believe that everything DL is saying is valid. Mo’nique needs healing. She has to realize there is a time to let go in order to grow. You can’t keep throwing tantrums, expecting people to apologize to you. I hope that DL stops giving her energy.

DL is truly one of that certain old breed of black comedians who embraced activism as much as entertainment. Extremely well-read, intelligent, a man who thinks before he speaks, and having to speak often, thinks much. He’s a poet scholar. Sadly, few will see or appreciate that because we’ve been conditioned to minstrelsy. Many will dismiss this man that offhandedly uses a term like bellicose, but repeat everything another man says that’s claimed to have read 3000 books but struggles to correctly use terms of fewer syllables. DL might not be one of the funniest, but he’s def one of the wisest. And funny only carries so much water anyway.

My husband and I were unable to conceive children of our own, but we were Blessed to adopt our sons. Their Birthmothers will always have a special place in our hearts.
I love that DL talks about his mistakes in the past that haunt him, that is why I was so disappointed in Monique for using a story (of how he failed his daughter & how he is making up for it) against him. That was so deplorable & she was lying when she apologized (not sincere). I understand (somewhat) if she has beef with him, but to bring his daughter & wife into it, low.
DL called Monique everything but a child of God, she would have never known about his daughter if DL would have not talked about her on a public platform, to me it shows what type of man DL is, he also had a child that he wished was dead PUBLICLY!!! and the child died.... I was done with DL when (HE) shared this information, I can't respect him!!!
People are silly and clumsy in looking over in the yard, or business of others 👀. DL NEVER said a damn thing about Monique until she went on attack and TALKED DOWN 🗣️💨💨💨 about he and his family! DL DONT HAVE TIME for this ignorance, but got sucked into it by some big hefty hot suction! So he let loose.
Messy hot head followers ran right with her… then her son broke it down to real nitty - there’s plenty hot wind 💨. But I will say she did an amazing job w him, because though he is distanced from her, he is soo well spoken, I have to give her some credit, as a fellow parent. He skillfully outed her 🛜🌎💯🤷🏽♂️😬

This is one of the best conversations that I have heard from Mr. D.L. Hughley give. I’m 69 years old man, and I know what fear can do to some people. That part of the conversation needs to be addressed more often. Fear grows low self esteem, and only as a born again Christian have I realized my ignorance of being fearful of something that didn’t happen yet or may never happen. As far as Mo’Nique and Katt Williams go, there is more there than meets the eye, and it saddens me of the ignorance that is being displayed from all that’s involved. I have grown up seeing this kind of behavior, and what do it serve to belittle one another. I hope that all that reads this understand when we as a culture act negatively against one another it’s putting on a show for the few that thinks we are less than. Think and look back and learn, the show is in Hollywood, politics, music, and in general. Much Love from an 69 year old Afro-American.

L. is someone I follow because of his intelligence and politics, I’ve never seen him perform so I can’t address his comedy. When Jason runs for State Legislator and wants a picture of a wife and children on the pamphlet I’ll pose as his grandmother in the background! He had some great advice for Jason.

I love Mo’nique. I do believe that everything DL is saying is valid. Mo’nique needs healing. She has to realize there is a time to let go in order to grow. You can’t keep throwing tantrums, expecting people to apologize to you. I hope that DL stops giving her energy.

DL is truly one of that certain old breed of black comedians who embraced activism as much as entertainment. Extremely well-read, intelligent, a man who thinks before he speaks, and having to speak often, thinks much. He’s a poet scholar. Sadly, few will see or appreciate that because we’ve been conditioned to minstrelsy. Many will dismiss this man that offhandedly uses a term like bellicose, but repeat everything another man says that’s claimed to have read 3000 books but struggles to correctly use terms of fewer syllables. DL might not be one of the funniest, but he’s def one of the wisest. And funny only carries so much water anyway.
