My students all depend on using the school's equipment, so now that we are closed due to COVID-19, I am going to keep the photo club going but using our mobile phones. This is a perfect video to get us started. Thanks!

    This video was super helpful! In the middle of this pandemic I'm working full-time security at an empty concert venue. While on patrol I've been trying to get back into still photography, something I used to do before getting so busy and telling myself I didn't have time. There's so much here that I see everyday I feel like Im just taking the same photo over and over. I definitely going to take these tips when I do my next patrol here in like 20 mins! Also I never even thought about flipping the phone around!

    Adobe Lightroom Mobile is now free. You can find it at app store on Android and IOS. Little hard at first on a phone due to small screen but I use it on 10 inch HD tablet and it rocks (also works on iPad). I use it on photos sent over from my DSLR for quick edits and posting where ever.

    You did a very good job. Your organization of the material, interspersed with cuts that showed you actually doing what you were suggesting, helped keep your narrative moving along. You have an excellent voice and engaging presence, a personality that conveys the fact that you know what you are talking about and - most importantly - care!
    The three rules of selling - oneself or a product, service are:
    1. First, they have to like you.
    2. Then they will trust you
    3. Then, they will - if it suits their needs - follow your lead.
    You done got all three.
    The ONLY THING I found distracting, that caused me to be de-focused, broke the "suspension of disbelief" magic was.
    AND, this observation is , I realize NONE of my beeswax to mention - is the scruffiness of your beard; it detracts and undermines the precise demeanor of everything else you are. Please don't be offended, but you get both the good and the bad with me! People worth knowing don't waste time blowing smoke up your ...
    Keep up your good work - because, we inquiring minds - want to know!
    The "beeswax" reference is an anachronistic term that goes back to another space and time of who knows when it was!

    Adobe Photoshop Lightroom CC (mobile) only cost money if you want certain features such as editing raw files. I don't know how it was back in February, but the recent update is worth checking out. Though I'd recommend checking out multiple apps and work them into your work flow when needed as none of them have everything you may need. Just remember to save in a lossless format if you plan on doing that. I personally use snapseed to convert to .png just because I don't want to shoot in .jpg or pay a monthly fee to edit raw files in lightroom cc.

    Nope, put my smart glasses on, the rule of thirds is used also to give proportion to elements in the frame. Just check any dialogue scene in any movie, most follow strictly this rule.

    • @KennethWayne
      @KennethWayne  6 лет назад

      That's absolutely true. I should've said "also" used by the intersections rather than the only way. Keep on rocking the smart glasses 🔥
