    Born a Christian I had many questions. Everything went back to just Jesus and how he died for us. Even when there was unanswered questions it’s still just Jesus. My father had converted to Islam and I made joke of it. But as I gained knowledge and became less ignorant I converted myself. Islam is the way. Allah has given us clear cut proof of his existence and the purpose of life through the messengers. I pray for all my Muslim brothers and sisters I pray for the non Muslims to get true knowledge of Islam. Alhamdulillah

    In my opinion the term randomness is a term used by humans to describe something which they cannot comprehend without a doubt, if you throw a million sweets the way they fall and where can be known if you knew the weight/air dynamics/trajectory and strength of throw etc etc but we say it's landed randomly because we have no understanding of the laws and effects in action. Everything is ordered, randomness is just the description of ignorance imo

Nauzubillah the answer like br shamsi said we're given free will and the most important is He is God he knows better he created us to worship him. We as human got limited knowledge and understanding. Do not doubt in UR faith HE IS GOD THE MOST JUST THE MOST MERCIFUL THE MOST WISE We are nothing to think something beyond our limited understanding. Of course we can think anything that come across our mind but at the same time we should accept that as human our mind is limited. They don't make the claim a God doesn't exist why because it would be ignorant to the fact we have insufficient evidence to say it is truthful....most of the scientist today I believe are agnostic based on the definition I gave above but they choose to be known as atheists because it has become part of a social contruct...mainly to fit in and not loose the their livelihood
      Humanity doesn't even possess 1% of knowledge regarding the universe yet you have ignorance in people to say a creator a cause a God did not create it

      99% of atheists are agnostic. They are two separate questions. You say a god exists. I say prove it. You can’t. Then I say, I don’t believe you. That doesn’t mean that I know a god doesn’t exist. Theism is about belief in a god, Gnosticism is about knowledge. Some theists say they don’t know for sure, but they believe a god exists. They are agnostic theists. If you claim that you know, then you are gnostic. Agnostic does not mean “I hold no position in either direction” If someone is not convinced there is a god, then they are an atheist by definition.

    How _do_ we detect 'design'? What principle do we use to decide 'X is designed' and 'Y is not designed'? Quite often 'complexity' (which has no formal definition) is suggested. That which is 'complex' is 'designed', while that which is 'not complex' is 'not designed'. Other times, 'function' is suggested. That which 'performs X function' is 'designed', that which 'does not perform any function' is 'not designed'. Both of these, however, have problems. There _is_ a third option (possibly more, but at least these three) which would detect 'design'.
    Suppose one was to wander into a forest and come across a tree knocked over by some storm. There's wood _everywhere_ around it, and in it. In the middle of that pile of wood there's a cylinder of wood that is smooth save for either end where it's rough. We look at that cylinder and detect 'design' about it, thinking 'maybe it's a broken handle, or broken tent pole' or similar. How did we do that, though? It's just a bit of wood, so it's not 'complex'. It's, at best, a _broken_ bit of wood, so it doesn't 'perform X function'. And yet we'd never be fooled by it. We could do the same thing with 'broken' bits of rock, or metal, so it can't be that it's 'biological'. It's in among other stuff of the same material, so it's not 'that material doesn't appear here'. Instead what we _seem_ to be doing is noticing a contrast. Wood does not normally _form_ that way. So we note that 'X does not normally form this way' is 'designed' while 'X normally forms this way' is 'not designed'. This can, and has, fooled us (such as when we thought there were 'ancient Greek column bases' in the ocean, but turns out it was just bacteria), but it tells us how we decide that a bird's nest or a broken handle are designed while we don't generally think a grain of sand is designed.
    Relating this back, then, if we try to think of the natural world, including life, as being 'designed', we would lose the very contrast we used to decide something was 'designed' in the first place. At that point, there's no more reason to remark about a cellphone than a grain of sand, they're all the same thing. At that point, then, you ought to be able to use a grain of sand to show design, but no one ever does.

    • @jayr489
      @jayr489 5 лет назад

      Many people believe in a creator (designer) due to the fact that they cant themselves produce the 'natural' objects around them. They percieve them to exist without an actual physical or intentfull creator. They may understand that a rock formation is created by the natural elements such as the wind and rain but there is no "intelligience" so to speak of behind these creations, (refering to your tree analogy). The point that being able to use a grain of salt as an example rather than a phone does not work, and itself should not be the case that it does. A phone or another such object such as perhaps a sharpened and shaped piece of metal an historian might claim to be proof of humonoid existance in the past, shows human design, or design shown by the points deducted using the phone as an example. No one would deny that its designed. But a natural grain of sand is known to not be created by humans. So the question being asked is that if there is a creator 'designer' of the phone, and a grain of sand exists and we did not create it, then what did. Showing that a phone has a creator as an analogy shows that other 'natural' occurances such as humans or grains of sand themselves also have one. Breaking the elements and components down of a human would show the materials used. The same for a phone. However, the person doesnt believe that the phone has a creator because its made up of atoms or materials, in the same way a sand castle being broken down into its elements to a grain of sand. They believe it to be so because he can see that they exist with signs of intent, design etc. The universe as a whole, or the objects within it and its natural components/materials are then subject to analysis, based on the assumption that they dont have a explainable creator which we have observed but can see through the analogy.

    • @jayr489
      @jayr489 5 лет назад

      My main point is that using elements and materials is not the argument being used. The argument of the phone is to show a clearly created human object has a designer and so does the universe and objects within it that dont, also have a cause and design intrinsically based on the fact they exist and using the deductive process used to explain the existance of the phone. The stumbling block for most people is they stary bringing god into the argument or the fact you cant see this creator. You are saying purely based on its existance a grain of sand is not used but should be and never is. A sand castle on the other hand would be. Its an object most people who would come across it would say is designed. By breaking it down into its components does not prove it is designed, if anything it just proved it 'exists' and has a creator such as a human. The sand castle exists, the world exists. And so does a grain of sand. But someone coming across a grain of sand, no matter how amazed or uneductated about it as an object/material or educated and scientifically knowledgable about it would come to the conclusion a human or animal made it. But it exists. It doesnt show any form of human/observable or known creator. So using a grain of sand as an analogy would not work as the analogy of the phone is to show an object clearly has been created by a designer with characteristics such as intent and so on. We are using the analogy of a human/proven created object, the phone(and its components) versus an object , the universe(and its components) which is believed not to be created/designed to highlight the features of design within its existance. The analogy is using the complexity to show a creator of both the natural and un natural, not the materials or components.
