Mick’s body language alone spoke volumes on how very different she felt for the two men!
And the nonstop reminders of zeke to mick that they’re meant to be, whatever the cost, however long the journey, in the end they will meet and be together…the forever GEMINI.
Having said that, i was also rooting for jared to find his own true love coz he deserves it….and when the writers paired him with drea..OH BOY!! My heart couldn’t be happier….their chemistry was there too….AND THEN THEY WERE HAVING A BABY??!! Llooooovvveeee it!!

I'm also happy that Jared and Drea ended up together. These two have dedicated their whole lives to protecting 828 passengers. Mich made the right choice to let Jared go. I also think God gave them a choice to fly to the light or live in the current timeline. They chose the light because they were drawn to it. So, that timeline was officially erased but they were also judged from it. Which is why they are keeping the memories from it. Here is what actually happened. When the plane went missing they all were gone for 5 years in their reality. And then in another seemingly similar reality although other parallel-reality they came back 5 years laters. And they were set out to save that dying parallel earth which they assume is their native reality, The divine did this to see if they had the power to do so. However when the divine saw that they not all succeeded in this task he vaporized those who were not pure of heart (the 11 passengers) and version of earth. And returned the victorious ones to an alternate reality of their dreams because they had learned what means the most to them.
So in conclusion the 5 Year Time span Earth wherein they had the callings and had to go through all sorts of trials was a parallel version of earth that ultimately was destroyed by the divine, since the "chosen participants" could not save the earth, so that Jared, Olive, Eden everyone on that version died!. They then flew back as if the plane never crashed to begin with and arrived at the terminal only to see they were never gone. And living their dream life. However they just migrated timelines thats why they have the memory recall, because it really happened!.
Its a simple but powerful message that says, "love what you have"
Each character in the show went through the lessons of loss
And those that returned were able to accept the loss and move forward only to realize they didn't lose anything and appreciate it all thus more than ever before.
But there is no doubt about it there is a Parallel Earth version connected to this TV Show eventhough it may not be obvious.
Earth 1 (Original Timeline) - Where the plane went missing and never returned. (All passengers died).
Earth 2 (The bridge timeline) - Where the plane went missing but came back years after. (Calling timeline where they got visions of the Earth 1 Timeline)
Earth 3 (Alternate Timeline) - Where the plane never went missing and things picked up where they left it. (Passengers return to a timeline where they get to live their reward).

Overall I thought life has to continue, not just start all over again, returning the dead people along the way…But then I realised that all 828ers where just robbed of their normal, happy life, with all their relatives alive. It was just not fair, they definitely didn’t deserve to land 5,5 years later and learn that your loved ones thought you were dead for 5,5 years. Many of them lost their families, missed their children’s growing and of course got through terrible experiments with them. So yeah, I’m happy for 828ers. Problem is his childhood will probably not last long as he is still suffering from cancer. Saanvi techincally can help him with that but her research was experimental and in trial phase 5 years after the plane departed, so no clinic will let her test the treatment on Cal. Even if they somehow manage it, we saw in season 4 part 1 that after Cal aged 5 years his cancer came back and Saanvi’s treatment was no longer working, the only thing that saved him was Zeke’s sacrifice. So that would mean that in 5 years his cancer will return and will not be curable anymore…….

just got finished watching it and wow, it looks like I’m in the huge minority. that ending was incredibly morbid. the world we watched for the last 5 years was wiped from existence. Eden is gone, Hope is gone, Chloe is gone. unless the passengers got sent to an alternate reality, then they did not save the world
I don’t buy into the idea that coming back to 2013 is a happy ending for everyone. passengers lived lives for 5 years, with people they loved. the families they returned to are not the same ones they spent those 5 years with and never can be. If I was someone like Ben or the mother who gave birth in the detention center, I’d be mortified that my babies were erased from reality

Michaela and Jared always seemed to find their way back to each other they were meant to be together the storyline was heavily based around these characters and their connection. Jared and Drea was an awkward add-in that didn't make sense.

  • @elien9304
    @elien9304 Год назад +5

I found it the greatest finale ever. Now, my two cents on what truly happened at the ending. Everything was already explained by Saanvi, Ben and Mick by that campfire about what truly happened . Why the 828'ers? No particulair reason, just because the Divine needed some humans to test if the world (or humankind) was worth saving. The 828'ers did well and they saved the world. They saved it by convincing the Divine that it deserved a REWIND. The Divine just turned back time for planet Earth, and no one knows or remembers it, except for the "prophets" a.k.a. the 828'ers. And like Ben said:' What is meant to be will be,", and Mick told Jared:' You gonna need to have Hope." So basically Mick told Jared in code language that only the 828'ers understand: Go and make that baby with Drea. Ben basically already told us that Eden is going to be born as well, cause he told Grace about their 'three kids'. And Olive still has that crush on TJ (and now he remembered her name), and TJ still has feelings for adult Olive. So they will find their way back to one another in time. The world didn't end, it just got a rewind. And nothing is lost, it's all waiting for them in the future. ;-)

Grace will pass away but with love and peace, not murdered. Saunvi’s relationship will end too, but in good terms not with hurt and sorrow. It also doesn’t really clear up why they were chosen and how they’re surviving the death date saves the world. Was the divine just testing if the world deserved to continue? Perhaps, in this new timeline, Ben & Vance will become close because Ben (and the others) tells Vance the truth but has to find a way to convince him of it.

Doc Brown said it best to Marty at the end of Back to The Future 3, “your future hasn't been written yet. No one's has. Your future is whatever you make it. So make it a good one.” That’s what the passengers get to do now.

I believe that reality got wiped as they were living the apocalypse, and the plane was indeed the arch for them to survive the death date.
They got to leave that world and get another chance at life as they landed in 2013 as if the plane never went missing

Not even a season five, could just be a spin-off: Something like Manifest: New Evil. Egan can be the main character and has to deal with callings from Angelina telling him to get the omega sapphire...only this time it's to REVERSE the Death Date. And he uses Callings to escape from the REAL villains in the series, Major Fitz and Director Zimmer who are still out to experiment on the 828 passengers.

    • @LifeisReal1990

Multiple realities does exist, so yes, the alternate apocalypse killed everyone on that Earth. The new timeline will not have an apocalypse in 2023, so everyone can relax. I know multiple realities exist, because Ben is holding a wooden dragon from the other timeline, meaning it was real. Another proof of the 2023 events really happening, is the injury on Saanvi's arm still fresh in 2013. I believe the 2023 apocalypse was meant to test humanity, and now the divine can decide to leave the world alone in this new timeline.

    My theory-
Timeline 1) plane 828 actually crashes in the ocean, all passengers die
The Divine knows the 191 ppl on the plane have things they are struggling with and wants to save them and therefore put them in a pocket dimension / alternate timeline (timeline 2) to test them to see if they are worth saving
Timeline 2) the plane lands 5 years later, the events of the show happen, ppl follow callings to prove to the Divine that they are worthy of being saved, they choose helping ppl over gaining power, the passengers have 5 years to prove to the divine that they are worthy of being saved, at the end the passengers pure of heart are saved from their original fate from timeline 1 and moved to timeline 3
Timeline 3) The events of the finale, the Divine saves the pure passengers, the plane doesn’t crash, and the passengers that the Divine deemed worthy of being saved ( the 191 minus the 11 that were turned to ash) get to experience the life that was taken from them as a reward for proving to the Divine that they are unselfish and pure of heart
only thing tho is i guess everyone in timeline 2, everyone we got attached to like older Cal and older Olive and eden are just…. dead? that entire timeline was just a test for the passengers to see if they would figure out their struggles / be unselfish and everyone else in that world was just an NPC

The sentence from the rock that Olive was searching for, during boarding the plane last time scene, "Forgiveness lightens the heart," and the whole analogy of weighing a heart against a feather.
