They made it because a bunch of after market companies have been making extended slides and grip mods for the p365. Sig figured theyd hop on the train.
I seriously think theyre gonna phase out the P320 and try to make a duty ready 365 at this point😂
Theyre gonna be gunning for Military contracts and all that. They make so much money off this platform its ridiculous
@@JudoMMAster they will never phase out the P320 and they already do have a military contract for the P320, it's called the M18 and M17. And I'm not sure what you mean by duty ready, this video is already talking about the new full size P365.
@@Thomk121The 365 is the best selling pistol in the last three to four years why not. If they make a duty ready 365 which holds more rounds and has a great reputation it puts Sig above any other gun because it can adjust to big and small handed people. This would literally be the perfect pistol for most people.
SIG ain't dumb.
@@saihemebillings2820 What exactly is it that "Duty Ready" means in your head?
They made it because it has been at least 6 months since the last p365 SKU was released and they need to keep the money train rolling 😅
Why you laughing?
@rudrashakti108 Because I find it hilarious. It's like car models from the 90's turned up to 11.
@nickhosford7801 No actually this is a good move on their part. I have 3 glocks but it makes zero sense to carry a 19 When the 43X does the same thing. This way people who are on the fence about the 43X will look at this and see it as the best of both 🌎. Light slim and 4 inch barrel what's not to love?
Why aren't you laughing when its true.
That hardly go 6 days without a new variation of the same gun 😂
Completely missing the fact that there are people with small hands who love the P365 platform.
This. Folks with large hands seem to take for granted just how much of a challenge it is for those of us with small hands to find slimmer pistols with a higher capacity that run more like full-size or double-stack pistols, especially in the striker-fired market. The XMACRO has been a game-changer, but recently I was thinking about how there should be one with a full-size barrel. I guess Sig read my mind!
@@ThePoorBoy man I'm 6'2. G17 with a houge grip for more beef.
Truth, my wife loves hers.

@@Osprey1994 so you are saying I have small hands? Damn that stings. Lol
Did they send it to you for review?
Of course they did.
I think he was just invited out to the Sig event like the other folks were. This is clearly a voice over recorded after the event.
Clearly… and obviously
My guess is that this exists so they can stop getting sued over the P320.
Wrong
@@twrol well I love my M17 P320
I believe that the problems plaguing the P320 are due to an inherent flaw. Even if all the ADs are NDs, the publicity is hurting the platform. Either way, the P365 will eventually replace it in my opinion.
@@wjbailey7210 I can’t even say for sure there is a problem with the p320. What bothers me about the lawsuit is they can’t be reproduced in a controlled environment. Most are obviously poor handling, but a small number are just a mystery, and if you can’t explain how it happened, you can’t prove it won’t happen again.
@@cowboys20004 you should try the Brouwer grip module. Super nice if you shoot 2011’s well.
they made it because people will buy it. some people will buy it because they think it fits their hand. most people will buy it because lots of influencers tell them to.
The 365 line is all amazing. Minus the sas. It’s a concealed carry gun. It’s the og that changed the game. It will always go bang. It’s not for everyone but that’s ok. I’ve got the original the xl and the x. I’d bet my life and my loved ones lives on it in a bad situation any day. I can’t say that about every firearm I’ve seen here. Where the rubber meets the road. Brother. Iykyk!
😂😂😂
Mine started as the SAS model! Custom ported and comped slide, FDEZ Werx ported barrel, Tru Glo rear sight, high vis night front sight, Tyrant extended takedown lever and slide catch, MCARBO spring kit and flat trigger, Align Tactical mag release on the Icarus Air grip module that I added a palm swell to imitating the original Icarus XMacro grip module.
I could easily build another one with a new FCU and a slide completion kit.
We love our sigs. Mine is the 380 my husband has the comp 9mm. Won't change. And the recoil isn't that bad. I'm only 5ft 2 124 and 66 years old. I love it.
@danaflowers3165 hey i heard there were cycling issues with the 380 version, have you experienced this?
@@BBB0108 I haven't an issue so far
It makes perfect sense when you think about it. We went from carrying thin full size single stack guns like 1911s, to carrying fat double stack wonder nines, to carrying subcompact fat double stack nines. This new form factor is just a return to tradition, big thin guns are easier to conceal than small thick guns.
The problem with slim full size guns is they're just straight up hard to shoot due to not being able to get enough support hand pressure, which is what full size guns are supposed to excel at.
i can tell you from personal experience that this does not apply to this firearm.
i recently purchased it. ihave pretty small hands im a avg height guy 5'8 not tall.
the firearm feels good in the hand, it fires well and the optic is decent.
my main carry before this was a HK VP9, i think both are excelllent. with the VP9 being better
@@brodyscarlett5527 You act like this gun is the size of a matchstick, it’s no slimmer than any 1911. It’s only about a tenth of an inch slimmer than your standard Glock 19/17. So unless you have baseball mitts this is false
It's obviously a comeback to the Springfield Echelon.
The echelons no slouch!
For concealed carry I still think the P365, P365X, or P365XL, are better choices. Smaller and easier to carry.
Because people are figuring out that carrying a subcompact or microcompact and practicing with those small pistols qre two very different things. Most people don't shoot their guns, if they did they will pretty quickly realize how brutal it is to fire 500 rounds through a small frame pistol. Larger pistols have better ergonomics, sight radius and round capacity.
@@Brett235 90% of people can’t afford to shoot 500 rounds in any single session. You are vastly overestimating and honestly I have never understood the whole recoil thing. I carried a 365 clone (Taurus GX4) for a long time and trained with it often. It didn’t hurt to shoot any more than any other gun I shot.
People are either very soft or they’re wildly overestimating the amount of recoil generated by 9mm.
How many versions of the 911 does Porsche sell again? 🤔
You gotta have fun practicing, if you enjoy practicing with your carry gun then that’s the best gun to carry.
If you’re buying a comp gun for your first handgun you’ve already done something wrong
He answers his own question at the end in his other videos. Answer: M&P Shield Plus. “It’s just overall a better gun for carry.” 😁
Nothing wrong with the 365 line. Thought of getting an XL recently but held off. I carry the M&P 2.0 4” Compact in 9mm (Glock 19 size for reference). I can comfortably carry it and shoot it well. I do have a Shield 2.0 in .40 and the 9mm Shield Plus, and Sigs, Glocks, Rutgers, CZ, and a few others. But I always tend to carry the M&P Compact.
This Sig looks cool, but as always find out what works for you and for your body type/dress for carry. +Good holster and belt just as important as that light and the sights.
That’s one damn snappy gun…that’s why not.
What are you smoking bro
Geez that recoil looks violent.
Are you being facetious? Cuz it looks pretty weak to me, my p365X jumps a lot more that that if I don't have a good grip on it, 147grain pill going down only a 3"in barrel. These are considered micro compact, they're gonna jump.
It definitely does. And it definitely is! These slim plastic guns just aren’t as enjoyable to shoot as everyone makes them out to be lol
Noticed that as well, looked like it was chambered in .40. Pretty snappy for a 23oz gun.
That what I was saying people keep saying this a competition gun lol
@@AudioGardenSlave123 it does look like his grip is lacking
That snap is a good place to start. Either that shooter's recoil management is just bad, or that's the snappiest 9mm I've ever seen
In six months there will be an SBR 365. Thing keeps downing Mario mushrooms.
I think the name of the company should be barrack
Barack huh? I thought name it after Trump. Since it's Slim,Young, and optics ready!
Name it Mar-a-Lago special
??
SIG is asking for five bucks😂?
I mean the legion is a thing. If you actually look at the originals they actually came with nickel plated internals... They have removed them overtime and now they release them as a special edition with a mark-up. While I don't like they did it, there is no competition. So I don't blame them for it...
For people who don't trust the P320, but want a bigger gun.
Marketing my friend. Marketing 👍🏽
So do people not understand competition divisions? This is obviously a competition pistol for a specific division. From-the-factory ready has a huge market especially for beginners, so Sig saw an opportunity
They're preparing to abandon the 320 design. That's all I'm hearing plus people love the 365 over 320
Sig challenge, make something that isn’t a p365:
Difficulty: Impossible
The reason the actually made it because they wanted one gun for a house hold and if you think about it. It can hold 21 rounds so that plenty for range days and then you got 17 to conceal it with. And with it not actually being a fell size gun it’s a great hand gun for younger people and women to have. So there to say if your family doesn’t own a gun it’s the best place to start with
After multiple 320s going off in the holster, the issues the 365 had when they rolled out originally and my own experience/issues witnessed first hand with my duty M18…I’ll never CCW any of the new sigs. Their QC has gone to crap over the last decade.
i carry a P365xl and I love it, not too big, not too small, and i have the 17rd mag on and its very comfortable and easy to shoot. Highly recommend for a carry gun.
Thats awesome!! Looks good asf. They should have had an integral comp amd ported barrel!!
Just saw the posts for these today. I actually really like them. I was wanting to get an Xmacro. Maybe I'll just get a fuse. Instead
It’s for people who have a 365 only and want a bigger pistol. I’m not swapping out an X5 Legion for one
I carry a XL rose, considering the Fuse for a competition and range practice gun since it should be similar enough in the grip to my carry gun to not feel like a completely different firearm.
Short answer: it's a USPSA category now and also looks awesome
Personally don’t like sigs, don’t want the fuse at all. They definitely hopped on the bandwagon with this gun. Not hating though.
Why did they make it where spring rod is protruding when slide is locked? If said weapon is dropped in a stressful situation, couldn't this cause lots of problems if Rod is bent?
You must’ve forgotten about my EDC.. P365 AXG Legion
I want one. I already carry a 365 as a daily driver but this definitely feels better in the hands.
As I said on GBRS:
365 is good
365XL is great
365 Macro might as well get the 320.
xmacro grip, xl slide, and pmm comp. Smokes this all day.
Thats such a gorgeous handgun, whenever i save up enough and get my license im absolutely getting a p365
"That just sounds like a P320 with extra steps."
I carry the OG 365 for edc. Great pistol ! Very reliable, very accurate..
Grip too small for there to be much surface area to grasp with second hand. I think this is a gun community phase and people will want to actually hold their guns well and go back to G19 sized stuff.
Don’t they already make a bunch of P320 variants? Might this cannibalize some of those sales?
Doubt it, they've got different applications. P320 is more for duty carry, ive carried my p320 XCompact and I've carried my p365X, and the p365x is a million times more comfortable
They might be moving in that direction... Lower bore axis on the P365. If I were to use the Fuse as a Duty pistol, I'd put it on the Sharps Bro's XMacro grip module.
I also think they want the low bore axis crowds money. I have zero interest in p320 for a few reason but love the 365xl I carry and really want the fuse for the capacity and size. Just going to wait the 6-9 months for them to come out with a comped version. I’d bet my life it’s coming and soon
@@mikemellon80 highly likely! Next year they'll release the comped AXG Legion around this time 😂😂😂
I honestly would like the 4.3" barrel with an integrated comped slide for a duty pistol. I have a feeling that their next move is a 4.1" with an integrated comped slide.
When are they gonna make the full lego set (all the different grips, barrels, and slides)?
I put a bunch into my 320 this year. Wish this was around then 😂
I actually went today with my wife to buy her a handgun. Didn’t even know this was a thing so I walked around for a bit came back she had a few pistols from Glocks to SW to sign on the shelf Testing them all back came back around and she had this picked out so for her first pistol this is what she walked out with
looking forward to get'n this one and the comp version that we know they are going to make!
Me personally just keep your macro and buy the 21 round mags
I got the macro grip. I actually liked the XL grip better, so put it back on. Also allows me to use the 12 round mags I already had.
@@jrstoelting XL grip with what slide ?
@@jamaurywashington4400I put a XL grip on my XMacro comp slide. It conceals a little better than the Macro grip. I do love the versatility of being able to change out grip modules and it takes about a minute to do it.
17 round mag in that thing? Dang. Does the P320 have anything else over it? I.E. slightly heavier and easier to control?
How long is the barrel on the new fusion version is it 4 1/2 inches
Well the website says 4.3 inches so relatively close yeah
The closest you can find as far as aftermarket is 4.1" offered by Shalotec. Shalotec also offers "frames" that will sit more flush with the Fuse and sit completely flush with the 4.1" barrel and slide. Icarus Precision has grip modules that sit completely flush with the Fuse that were originally designed for the Parker Mountain Machine comp and barrel combo "XXL"
They should’ve left the 365 factory X-ray sights alone idk why they put that awful fiber optic thing on there
Hearing about a lot of problems with these.
Pls share ???
@@3tonedThinker failures to go into battery
I just got a new XL TacPac... I really like it. Now I want this one too!
I don’t know why they made it but it might have just replaced my beloved glock 48
What's competition about it? It's going at the Duty/Carry market for people who A. Want a carry gun and they already have the P365 or People who want a Slim Compact to carry. I'm sure they also knew the trial could go either way. Instead of losing money money they come out with the FUSE. Smart move by Sig either way.
Not sure don’t know what to think of that . Makes no sense . To thin and long for a duty gun . To long for edc . That gun is a mistake
i think the real question is: why would anyone buy a sig?
Yea, I like it. I have short fingers and am a ballistics nerd, so a shorter trigger reach than a G19 or P320 and full-length barrel are tailor-made for me. Just wish I could take advantage of the capacity, but my state sucks
The Fuse is definitely on my wishlist it's full size with great capacity and the thinnes of a micro 9 it's basically subjectively the perfect carry gun for me.
This one also helps you practice malfunction clearing!
@@erikchristopherson9700 I doubt it will top my Remington R51 haha
Because money that’s why..
I think it’s because they had these longer slides and barrels from the flux raider p365, so why not use them somewhere else too.
Did they send it to you or did you find it at a local gun store? Asking bc I’m also in SC and want one 😂
Would love to see that slide with the icarus precision macro xxl grip on it.
In addition the trigger is exactly the same as the 365xl
if you live in WA state...thats "why not". 🤷♂️
Prefer my x macro comp slide. Not a huge fan of this one. But even better is the norsso DG rail slide I ordered. Their stuff is badass.
Why?
Because America LOVES Choices... 🥰
I like it, but doubt I'll be buying any of the P365 models. Great stuff, just happy with my current pieces and being a disabled senior & limited capital... Well... 🙄
Sig needs to fix their finish
Is it called the Fuse because you never know when it might go off randomly?
Slide assembly pin that the spring for the slid to ride on is plastic, and the sights are not glowing kind, I really felt like quality went backwards for sure with this pew pew, I was gonna buy one but picked up a 365xl Instead. Shameful going cheap guys on the build. And no aftermarket parts to speak of to resolve this plastic pieces for the slid spring assembly.
I hope the trigger is better, the sound p365s make when you dry fire is awful
Sig holding prices at a premium as their quality control goes all the way to hell. They lost me with the 320. Carried sig for years but never again
My first gun p320 rxc ..
I'll check out that fuse next
I loved Sig up until the M17/P320, I owned the p320, and carried multiple M17s and they all were trash so I stepped away from them as a brand. Then I was talked into buying a p365 macro and I loved it so much I got the wife one. I got little doll mits for hands so this thing fits me so well, the trigger is great and it’s 17+1 I just wished sig made a 4.25 barrel model, well here it is and I’ll be buying this one as well..I’m glad sig can still turn out good guns. The P365 is about to replace my Glock/Shadow that I have carried for 10+ years that’s how much I love the platform.
@@MGCOHN what’s trash about the m17 I have the m18 and it’s the flattest shooting gun I own even tho I got a ton of aftermarket parts the only thing I find trash about it imo is the iron sights and the oem grip is just slippery and has poor ergonomics not to mention the cheap layer of paint on the slide and a high bore axis
@@MGCOHN
"I had multiple guns from them that were all trash, so I made a commitment to *never buy anything from them ever again* !! The next day I went back and bought two more of their guns and they were great"

All of the "micro" manufactures are enlarging their pistols. Sig has been a leader in this category and has now come out with a full size, high capacity gun while maintaining the narrow and light characteristics of it's predecessors. What's not to like?
You can like the P365 as much as you like, but referring to it as "full size" is intentional nonsense. The Glock 19, a significantly larger pistol isn't a full size handgun.
The P365 is a high capacity compact. Not being a full size pistol is the entire point of the P365 line
So was mine I shoot twice a week and I had to get rid of my second 365. I carry a p99
They making so many variants we can't keep up with them or afford them all.
@@HonestTakesAll why would you even want to? It’s sig
@thebadlander3608 owned a lot of guns and they just make sense. I don't like their quality control because they just release them to customers before they truly test them, but the guns are concealable as hell. My p320 Spectre Comp shoots nesrly as flat and fast as a Staccato XC. For more than half the price. I stopped shooting my M2.0 and my G45 and sold them. X Macro conceal carry. Spectre Comp for speed at the range.
My brother had a p320 and that thing jammed every single day. He concealed it because it was an X, and his sweat rusted some of the internals. He had to clean it every other day. The maintenance on it was so bad he had to call sig and they basically just said “yeah you need to clean your guns” and then ignored every other message from him. Bad customer service, and a pretty bad product
@thebadlander3608 interesting. Hope he reached out to Sig because that had never been my or any I knows experience.
They made it because people realize that smalls pistols suck
I like the Glock 27, with a 26 barrel you can shoot 9 or 40. Or just the 26..
Only draw back, its not an inch wide.
I like Thin guns. Thing Guns CCW Better.
With all the Quirky new Glocks like 43, 43× & 48.. id like something with a 43 grip, and a 48 barrel in .40 that i could drop a 9mm barrel in and chose what caliber i want to shoot. Maybe .40 cal during Winter, an the 9mm during Summer.
But we are Stuck with just whats Presented.
because people didn’t want to buy the 320 and they were losing market share in that category
Because self defense is turning into a competition sport in many us places😂 sorry i know it morbid humor but you asked for it
Looks snappy
Might b ur grip but it looks like recoil and muzzle flip is pretty harsh
The Fuse or the axg legion?
no clue why they didnt add ports or a comp onto it
Hate the 365. All variants. Too fucking small for my hands.
43χ or what?
Cuz they lost the lawsuit for the p320 and are going with the only handgun they got thatll actually sell
Full sized gun with a micro compact width for easier concealment. That's all.
Except it isn't a full size handgun...
This is what I’ve been wanting for a while. The longer slide is actually nicer for appendix carry, it helps stabilize the grip from wanting to flip out over your belt line and carries closer to the body. If they made a full 5” I’d carry that.
