I worked for Walter Brown, Jr. DVM while in high school in the mid 1960’s. Dr. Brown’s animal hospital was on Broad Street just one block east of James. He inherited the cemetery from his father who was also a veterinarian. The father is the Brown mentioned at the beginning of this video. I helped dig some of these graves in 1964-65. Some people claim this is the most unique animal cemetery anywhere. I believe it.
I visited it today, June 4th 2023. It was a very nice place and very touching. As an animal lover, it was a very emotional trip.
