    I like the fact that you put your hair back instead of letting it hang down while you prepare/cook recipes. So many YT cooks have their hair hanging practically into the food they're working with. Your turkey tacos look good!

    You're not alone--I prefer the crunchy taco shells, too. It's so nice to lighten up tacos with ground turkey instead of beef.

    Oh wow!!! I had turkey meat and didn't know what to make with it. This taco recipe is so delicious. I had made homemade corn tortillas, I had them soft and wow, I loved your turkey recipe. THANK YOU SO MUCH 💓 they were so good I didn't even put the cheese in my taco . They were juicy just like you said

      So glad you liked it! And homemade tortillas! I love that. I'll occasionally use my tortilla press, but you just inspired me to use it more often. Homemade is best. Thank you!

    This recipe is awesome! Tonight I made it vegan! I tried it a few months ago with ground turkey and it was amazing. I've been vegan for a little over a month now. So, tonight I used Gardein Plant-Based Ground Be'f crumbles from Wal-Mart. It turned out delicious! I went a little heavier on the oil. I used olive oil because that's what I had. The vegan crumbles don't have as much water as turkey does. Even after adding the tomatoes with chilies. I also went heavier with the cumin and salt and I added black pepper. I added a pinch of sugar because the vegan crumbles were a little bitter. I love that the onion and tomato stretches the volume of the taco meat. You can never have too much taco meat. Thanks so much for sharing this wonderful recipe.

    Hi I really want to try this recipe today. Did it come out spicy at all? I don’t like spicy food so I wanted to ask before I try it

    • @MyForkingLife
      @MyForkingLife  4 года назад +2

      Nope, it's not spicy. Just make sure the Green Chili tomatoes are mild and the chili powder is mild.

    I really love this recipe! However, since I was making it along with you, it would help if you will name all the ingredients at the beginning. I was scrambling 🤣🤣 try to get each ingredient after the onions and garlic. Otherwise, it was absolutely delicious 😋! That lime use took it to another level! YUMMY 😋

    What does adding chili powder do for the taste ? Excuse me if it’s a dumb question but I’m new to cooking

    • @MyForkingLife
      @MyForkingLife  4 года назад +4

      Not a dumb question at all. It gives it a savory flavor since chili powder is a combo of spices. I’d rather use it than premade taco mixes.
