I'm sorry I forgot to comment . proud of you guys for your big mileage that day. happy that y'all got really good weather .I really like the little depots that you'll stop at. I had never heard of a barn quilt. that was one shiny little church. Herman looks like a little Red brick Town .Another excellent episode thank you for the upload. 👍😄

I’m guessing that you’re not a birding expert. Lol
Who told you that vultures are new to Missouri or that they are causing trouble?
Not only have these turkey vultures been in Missouri for almost forever, but they are very important to the environment. They clean up carrion. If they were not around, the environment would be much worse off. Turkey vultures are found all over the US.

Actually my research showed they were indeed black vultures not turkey vultures which we have many of here in Minnesota. www.kcur.org/news/2023-06-08/black-vultures-have-become-a-big-headache-for-missouri-livestock-producers

dude, ya'll credit card biking. no camping. oh well thats the easy way, but may be the best way. anyhow i will be leaving huntsdale going to st charles and back. are there signs to guide you to that cross bridge that takes you into jeff city.

As I remember there was a sign, although the trail not well marked, but the bridge is very visible. We like having a nice bed and meal, also on rain days it is nice not to have to deal with wet tents and stuff. At our age comfort wins over roughing it 😁 Have a good ride and thanks for watching.
