First dozer I ever ran was 650G my dad swore by them we owned them for 40 years newest one we got is the K series and I work circles around any D4 or 5 finish dozer I’ve ever put it up against 💪 Nothin runs like a Deere 👊
Well first of all he's talking about small finish grade hydrostatic crawlers. Not a D8. Plus when your dad ran a D8 Deere did not produce a machine that size. This video is about finsh grade which Cat can't even touch Deere.
How is the cab noise? I demo'd a 650K and liked everything about it but the cab noise (specifically hydraulic whine) was louder than my Cat G models so I went with a 21 Komatsu just because of cab comfort

GREAT MOVE GETTING RID OF DEF WHEREVER YOU CAN!!!!! There is no single issue across all new equipment as problematic as DEF systems. 🎉
Not much they had to do to remove it, just lowered the hp rating to 74hp instead of 80. 75hp and above requires Def/scr to meet tier4
