NX CAM FBM Nonstandard feature

Our technical team has successfully implemented 𝗻𝗼𝗻-𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗳𝗲𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲-𝗯𝗮𝘀𝗲𝗱 𝗺𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗶𝗻𝗴 for one of the giants in the aerospace industry.
In the NX CAM Feature-Based Machining (FBM), standard features are recognized and used to achieve NC programming automation.
We took FBM a step further by “𝘁𝗲𝗮𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗻𝗴” it to recognize 𝗻𝗼𝗻-𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗻𝗱𝗮𝗿𝗱 𝗳𝗲𝗮𝘁𝘂𝗿𝗲s not recognized by the out-of-the-box FBM functionalities.
It resulted in a customer-specific solution that significantly improved their machining process, boosting their productivity and efficiency.
