He was born lucky and the divide between his subconscious and conscious mind is thinner than normal and he can use this to his advantage in terms of memory and raw computing power. People are praising him for being cocky and not acknowledging the greats that came before him, which is odd to me. He was born with a gift, sure he developed it, but to then be cocky about it is obviously his choice, but I don't think it's something to cheer and clap for imo but I guess you can get away with a lot when you're good

Honestly that's more or less what I've always said in job interviews when they ask me to name an idol. The terrifying thing is that even though he is not in his prime, he is still the #1 Player. If he was still in his prime till now , he could have crossed 2900+ in Classical and none could have dared to challenge him. Present Super GM's in their Prime still can't defeat inform Magnus.
In classical, Fabi in his prime was a good match for Magnus. Those 2 are humans closest to engines.

Honestly that's more or less what I've always said in job interviews when they ask me to name an idol. One of my exes was also like that, she used to say she's not a 'fan' of anybody, she never connected to the feeling or idea of being a 'fan'.
