Hi Paul. Do I sound like I'm repeating myself when I talk about how graceful these lakers look passing through the canal? Sorry. I can't help myself. They are. Especially the early morning and early evening passeges, when the sky is full of Ma Nature's pastels! I lived in the S F Bay area for 16 years, and watched "salties" come and go. They may have been impressive, but they just didn't have the grace of the lakers. I'm Phil, down here in AZ, where, for 9 months of the year, I don't have to deal with humidity. Thanks for the many videos of the ins and outs of Duluth I enjoy watching.
I don't know, seems a little nasal-honky compared to others...but considering some of what we get from salties, no complaints at all, no sir. Nicely filmed, the clouds and the light really set up well for this one.
She is a nice looking ship and that lake looked so calm.
Sterling video! The sound of the swell breaking against the bow was mesmerizing. Sure appreciate the early mornings in a case like this!
Glad you enjoyed it, I really like the quiet, morning arrival, departures the most when "working", its very peaceful to me. small crowds.
Very nice.
Thank you! Cheers!
Awesome echoes!❤
Glad you like them!
I think the bridge needs a Ship horn:) maybe like the Barkers. Nice video Paul nice smooth water.
Thanks 👍 The Bridge horn comment is a very popular statement, its not all that poplular.
BIG LEAGUE HORN for sure! Thanks, Sam, Towson, md
You bet! I am very satisfied with the horns ASC put on those "middle" sized ships!
Always weird to hear yourself talk on the radio. Nice vid!
Glad you enjoyed! I bet it is!
Our little visitor center and museum here in the Port of Oswego is named the H. Lee White Museum and yes...she has a great horn!!
Neat!
I had to laugh a bit at the thought of those folks at the bed and breakfast nearby getting that salute as a wake-up call.
LOL, I feel most of the people that stay in those hotels, B&B's and such in the area are coming to see those ships as well.
That horn sounded just like the fire alarm at my high school. haha
Interesting FA horns in your school!
Sure would like to see ASC stripes, silver red silver on her stack again!
Time will tell.

All is well! I do appreciate this time as well. They are very graceful vessels! Thanks! "stay warm".
Not many people out there to watch her depart. The lake looked like glass.
Thanks for the video
Those early morning arrivals and departures are more or less not well attended, personally they are my favorite times.
