    That view of the Harold Washington Library was perfection! And honestly, we live a few blocks from there in PR and love it. But it’s a little edgier than up north…. ❤

    They need to hurry up and redevelop LaSalle already. Part of why the Loop and the South Loop are not desirable is because there isn't any vibrancy, and the loop is DEAD after business hours because no one really lives there. Converting all these old vacant office buildings to housing units would breathe so much life into downtown.

      Financial/business districts in almost all major cities are dead after business hours. Just the nature of the area. Although a lot of ppl WFH now, a lot of companies are having employees back in the office at least part time during the week so office spaces are still needed. I don't see this changing in Chicago any time soon.

      ​@@nimah8051 More cities are converting their older office buildings into units. The loop has a lot of vacant, un-used pre war buildings that will NOT be leased anytime soon. It's not that WFH is leaving these spaces vacant, companies don't *want* to lease space in these old buildings. Most of these older buildings lack the modern amenities that businesses want, and some of them are no longer up to commercial code. There is already a plan to convert 4 buildings along the LaSalle corridor. Bringing more people and amenities into the loop would give the area MUCH needed vitality. And there is no shortage of office space in Chicago, so converting 4 old unused buildings wouldn't affect demand in any way.

    Spectacular Loft... I'd Buy it. The Rooftop Sold Me and It Has That "GHOST" Movie Theme Going On as Far as Those Windows... In A GOOD Way, Just wondering The price range.
