- The IFP's Thami Ntuli has been elected as KwaZulu-Natal's Premier, defying fierce opposition from the Umkhonto WeSizwe Party and the EFF. Voting to elect the legislature's Speaker, Deputy Speaker and Premier dragged on well into the evening. This was due to a number of delays by the MK Party and EFF raising objections throughout the process, including the consultation of the Chief Justice with regard to having party agents present to oversee the voting process.

We need experience and ability in running the province. Driving a taxi or being a conductor does not give the skills to administer a Province. KZN deserves better and Premier Ntuli will shine.
Please sir
We ask you and plead with you that be an honest leader and we must improve the lives of the poor and grow the economy for our children
We mame nothing like that is gonna happen their leader sold out phela that's why they will be getting positions left and right and centre but there will do nothing progressive for the ppl of KZN excluding MK and EFF is done on purpose 😢😢😢😢
There's no honest politician
Dear Mr Ntuli, the only way to win the minds and hearts of the people is to be a a servant leader. Bring service delivery to the long suffering citizens of this province. The IFP needs to prove its capabilities. The jury is not out yet. Your actions going forward will determine the future of your organisation. Kusezandleni zakho manje.
EFF and the MK missed the bus 🚍
No problem we will enjoy our lavish salaries 😅
It's regrettable. Political maturity is vital.
@@thendothovhakale8914 the democratic alliance said they don't want to work with the eff and mk
Eish I just hope there will be no bloodshed in KZN, how does the largest party lose out on the premiership of KZN. GOD help the KZN promise and let peace prevail
MK just disappointed voters big time. Now the ordinary people have to fight for them again after voting for them in large numbers. Nothing has come out of it?
That's what happens when you don't have structures. Mk has themselves to blame.
MK party missed a meeting with the IFP, they straight up did a no show. That party needs to take itself seriously if it wants to govern.
Talking of bloodshed, it is going to affect the voters not those in positions in both MK and parties ruling parties. That's really sad 😢
@@sanelethabethe7152you probably got your answers today after the mk press conference, hopefully 🤷🏾♂️
😂 MK a party with no plan their biggest attraction isn’t even allowed to hold office
Zuma must be furious. The Guptas got all their money, and now he lost Natal.
Uhleka into engekho is inappropriate Muva liyabukwa
Money talk bra
If you were not Stupid you would have been aware that the big player here was Oppenheimers money, fortunately our MK is not a sellout like IFP, ANC and NFP
@@user-ix9sj2sb7t if you were not benefiting you were not blind you’d see that all the SOES failed under the corrupt leadership of Zuma. He is the one that looted the state and left us broke and grey listed not Oppenheimer. You probably got a few millions from the bribes though
How are you gonna win the most seats and fail to get even one of the top 3 positions there was never any structure let’s just hope they stay disorganised and let KZN flourish in peace
Flourish se foot. People have elected them with or without structure
Are people still going to laugh at Eastern Cape and Limpopo for voting ANC? 😂😂😂Who is laughing now that the KZN premier is not from MK. People must understand politics and relax.
To answer you question yes people are still laughing
Don't worry we'll deal with people like this in kzn😢
Yeah, voting for MK turned out to be a waste of votes
Wait and see those who siting on the chairs bcs of crime not free selected we will still laughing those provinces
@@LuckyThwala-mx5gy We are waiting, I'm not here to laugh at anyone but we are waiting just like we are still waiting for UDM or COPE to take over. When Holomisa left the ANC he created UDM, Zuma took over ANC and some deluded people who supported Mbeki created COPE but Mbeki never left the ANC, when Malema was fired he created the EFF and none of those parties have governed. They all start very well on their first elections then the numbers slowly but surely go down every election. I still say, understand politics first before saying other people are stupid. If a big party like ANC can be humbled by the results what is MK?
There is no wisdom in the Mkp.I feel my vote is wasted ,who is advising President Zuma for us to lose governing kzn.we know the court is against us but we run to court not focusing on breaking good deals to run kzn and show that Mkp can change the life's of our people not happy
Why is Mkp still going to courts knowing that the coarts will not judgement will not be in their favour.?
My point exactly 💯 👌
Thanks for your Honesty.
Moon pact coalition (mpc) lets how they'll deal with phala phala and mantashe mokonyane bosasa corruption 😂
It is sad to have 45,35% of the votes and still not having a single main position (Premier, Speaker, Deputy Speaker)! Big blow to MK! EFF doesn't learn the lesson and continues on the wrong side.
The MK will learn that arrogance doesn't pay. Voters send them and they decide to abstain. They have themselves to blame. Voters have done their part but leadership failed to do their own part.
@@mercy903 Who did vote MK? ZUMA is not a good reference to this country.
Hee! is he going to provide them with food and jobs? 🤔🤔
TIME WILL TELL...
Ubusela lobu, obenziwe uNtuli asimvotelanga,,kodwa abantu a ebehluse umoya
Why are you so easily dicouraged ?
If had send me to negotiate,I would have come with better results.give nfp the premier position and give eff two mec position.run kzn legislator as Mkp and finance mec .So u want to tell me that this is difficult
No, this reporter is lying or confusing issues...firstly the eff and mk party had never been raising objections throughout that dragged any process in the evening. Again the Provincial legislature is not being presided over by the chief Justice but a judge president...noo ausi your reporting needs serious improvement its very poor. The errors may not be limitted to these ones but u r misleading the masses..please get ur stuff in order, ahga maan!🤮
This coalition intends to divide the province like they did in the 80s, well in this case a different generation who is fully conscious of their black identity and will not perpetuate black on black violence against one another. The imperialists agenda will not overcome the will of the people, sit back and watch the MK prove it's intellectual and tactical prowess.
Aren't you tired yet of the same old rhetoric?
Yeah they will prove that in Courts l presume, while you still waiting for services

@@angelabaxter6298 I agree with you. But I am scared tat this can happen again. ANC and IPF and MK politicians killing each other. And blaming white people. Last politicians killing was only a month ago.
