ヒノキの木を使ってマスクを作ってみました。
彫刻してる人　：　薔薇漢　- Baracan -
ルデューテの薔薇の絵を木彫りで再現したいという気持ちと、仏教用語の阿羅漢を重ね合わせて薔薇漢としました。
このチャンネルでは主に木彫りの工程を動画にしています。
あまり動画に時間をかけられないので、細かい説明と編集は省いてそのまま動画を流しています。
ルデューテの薔薇の絵のような彫刻を目指していますが、元々は仏像などの木彫りの職人なので、仏像やあるいは様々な彫刻にチャレンジしていきたいと思います。

I am aiming for a sculpture like a picture of a rose in Pierre-Joseph Redouté, but since I was originally a wood carving craftsman such as a Buddha statue, I would like to challenge the Buddha statue and various sculptures.

Je ne peux pas passer beaucoup de temps sur la vidéo, donc je joue juste la vidéo sans explications détaillées ni montage.
Je vise une sculpture comme une image d'une rose à Pierre-Joseph Redouté, mais comme j'étais à l'origine un artisan sculpteur sur bois comme une statue de Bouddha, j'aimerais défier la statue de Bouddha et diverses sculptures.

Very informative!
4 years ago I started on a Janus sculpture, two faces young/old in a piece of really dry hard Ash tree...
Not the best tree for a beginner, but once I started i knew I had to finish it, there was no going back...
Amateur with a lot of confidence and will, my chisels broke from the hard tree, I had a hard time seeing the 3d picture of my head and thus making the features multiple times as I carved down.
This is my fourth year, but I will finish it...
Not yet happy with the "Old man side" and haven't started the "Newborn" side, this is a great learning experience...
Learning by mistakes, and I do them all I think...
But still so satisfying!!!
Thanks for the inspiration and know how!!!
