That's right. It was supposed to be a spinoff of Marv Merchants, his character in Home Alone. But when they were writing the script, Stern made a request to use a different name for his character.
I guess it was a glass jaw. When you hit your opponent in the glass jaw it puts them to sleep. That's what max did to that rich guy. I believe that's true when you hit your opponent on glass jaw.
To those who don't know, this movie was originally supposed to be a spinoff from "Home Alone" featuring Marv. I guess this movie will be a way for him to become a better person. If that remained, him punching the guy in the face fearing for a kid's life will be truly amazing for Marv's character arc.
To this day, the most underrated, most underappreciated, most epic movie of all time. This ending proves it. Wow.
It definitely is underrated.
Fr why does nobody talk about this movie? I rarely ever actually see it brought up, and almost never see it on reruns
@@Nebulasecura I genuinely adore, and have adored it since I was a kid. Daniel Stern is soo underrated.
@@EpicMovieCompilations agreed. I don’t even see reviewers or even so much as cinemasins cover this movie, it’s that underrated
I can never take Daniel stern seriously after home alone. Such an underrated actor with great comedic tenacity

In the end, Max was cleared of all charges and both corrupt FBI agent Palmer and Reinhart Bragdon were sent to prison for life.
I loved how Max told Palmer he's a disgraceful to the fbi. And yes it was true.

Except Daniel Stern wanted to use a different name for his character when they were writing the script.
Max also attempted to save Gordy's mom who had been kidnapped by Bragdon and Palmer, at least he was successful with this rescue
