- Last week I got to see first hand the all-new Hyundai SANTA FE. It felt like the perfect companion for a road trip because of its huge back tailgate area and the Hidden-Type Assist Handle which makes it so much easier to access the roof rack. Now I really wanna go back to the US to take it on proper road trip! @HyundaiWorldwide #SANTAFE #TheallnewSANTAFE #Hyundai
7:45 It’s not a compartment, but a UV-C Sterilization Tray, which is even cooler haha
Really enjoyed seeing your genuine reaction to all of the little things like the magazine boxes and traffic lights! 😂 And you’re right, I was the same way when I visited Europe for the first time (as an American) I was amused by how tiny everything was haha
The way Bernardo calls a hotel, 'otel' is so adorable
I guess it is a Portuguese thing because in Portuguese the "h" is completely silent. A lot of us when speaking English forget to actually pronounce the "h" at the beginning of a word haha
Wow that was a super surprise! I lived in Santa Fe for awhile, now in Florida. Every state is very different. Please come again when you have more time. I have traveled the US in a van in the ‘60, and ‘70s it was so easy and fun then. So much to explore here, so happy you touched down for a few days in the US. Happy trails to you always. 🤗💜🙏🌎🎶🥰
I visited the US in May for the first time. The first thing I said was that I felt like I was in a movie set 😂 Very relatable. It's so good you got to do this!
Welcome Bernardo!
I can't believe you are here in the states! I love seeing this country through fresh eyes. Maybe Ford, Toyota or Corvette will invite you to Kentucky. That would be awesome!!
I love how ecstatic you are in this video ! I've wanted to go to the US since forever as well so hopefully I can be as excited and happy as you are when I finally do get to go !
Love from Japan/Malaysia !
.
I just some of your videos in one sitting. Cycling through country roads not knowing where the roads will take me maybe the coolest thing i can imagine right now. Wish you all the best Bernado
Of all the states to visit first NM is definitely the most striking landscape wise. Welcome to my beautiful state!
Oh and if you’re getting a burger get a green chile cheese burger. Nm staple
Most striking landscape? Yeah idk about that the US has so many beautiful places idk if i could even say one is better than the other
Love your videos. Inspired me to get a new bike and ride it each day. Love from Romania.
Welcome to the US! I hope you have a wonderful first visit.

Cool! Thanks for sharing it. ✌️
You're adorable!!! Happy trails!!😊
love your work!!!❤❤❤❤
Oh my god!
My dream country...
Santa Fe sure must make an interesting first glimpse of the US! For one thing, it's the 3rd oldest European settlement in the USA having been founded by the Spanish in 1611 (the first being St. Augustine, Florida by the Spanish in 1565 then Jamestown, Virginia by the English in 1607). It also is interesting melting pot of Native American, Spanish, Mexican and US American influences. Oh, and it's right where desert, plains and Rocky Mountains all meet so it's not surprising many consider it a unique spiritual spot! Oddly enough, it was a frontier settlement for roughly 3 centuries- being in the northern corner of the Spanish New Granada colony, then the northern part of Mexico after Independence then in the Southwest of the US after the US gained the land in the Mexican-American War of 1848! It was also a bit north of the main conduit between California and the Eastern US (Albuquerque being on that beaten path) . In fact, despite its ancient heritage New Mexico didn't become the 47th US State until 1912! This heritage includes Native American pueblos [Spanish for 'towns'] that have been continuously inhabited by the original inhabitants as far back as . 900AD re the Acoma Pueblo and the Taos Pueblo is from the 1300's within easy driving distance from Santa Fe- legally these are Native American Reservations. However, unlike almost all other Reservations, these are their citizens ancestral homes from pre-European times!
BTW, slightly south of Santa Fe is the onetime mining town/crafting town called Madrid, New Mexico but my attempts to ask themstorekeepers where the nearest Madrid Metro stop somewhat fell flat (as they didn't seem to get that they were one of the very few towns named for the Spanish capital).
Beautifully photographed and thanks for sharing your first time in the US with us! Don't let the 7000 foot (2133 meter) altitude wipe you out!
what are you crazy
@@earthsufficient Why do you ask ?
Beautifully written comment, I never took time to appreciate Santa Fe
@@bigt7706 Thanks! I hope you get the chance to take it all in before too long!
Did you really just throw the plastic cup into the paper bin?🤣🤣 4:00 I love your vanlife videos man keep youe adventures up❤
It also said bottles but not sure if they mean plastic or glass.
Welcome brother to USA
Saw your videos in Morocco and loved them , if it happens you’re planning to visit the north i live in the border between Massachusetts and New Hampshire and live the experience of Morocco in USA
I absolutely love the content you created in Morocco. The Nomad, the family…such a nice thing. Personally would love to see more content like that. Safe travels
Pretty funny watching you get excited over the magazine bins with your classical music in the background. Those things are free cuz they're just full of local advertisements.
im from europe and i spent a year living in america. it felt like a movie every day. the yellow lines, the mail boxes, the traffic signs, the trucks...
we have same feeling for the first time in US.
this was cool to see
I wish you'd stay in the US longer
Welcome to the U.S.!❤
Welcome!!!!!!!
Gotta admit, was afraid you weren’t coming to Norway for a moment. See you there!
Welcome to America bro
Immediate flashbacks to Casey's vlogs with that room tour style.
Ahaha I love how you did the tour of the hotel room 😂
Very cool
You really inspire me.
If someone asked me who is your favourite influencer? it will be you.
I hope we will meet one day.
I thought you had already lived in the US, because your English is perfect and it's American.
Hope you enjoyed your first trip to the United States 🇺🇸. You need to put the Grand Canyon and Yellow Stone National Park on your bucket list. American hamburger 🍔. Bon appetit.
Nice shirt ❤
I want to meet u!! Come to Arkansas!
Amazing video Bernardo, so proud to be from the same country as you, lets conquer the world!!

Great video Bernardo, how do you get invited to these car previews?
Hey Bernardo ! Totally share your excitement about visiting another continent for the first time ! A question : what are your sunglasses brand ?
Fora sunglasses 😎
thanks!@@bbacalhau
Nice
This was like a Casey Neistat video. Especially the hotel room tour and the jump in the pool. 😁
cool
I wonder if Bernardo ever gets lonely and if yes, how he deals with it. I travelled alone for a month and it was very hard for me. Any idea here?
Hi Bernardo how are doing

The sterilization tray is meant for phones and wallets so there is not neeed to clean stuff with wiped 👍
You’re in Santa Fe . You should have Mexican food . Or better yet go to Mexico
What about the top of the car? Is that storage or like a camping "tent"
Storage. In an aeroshell mounted on the roof rails. In some movies you might see a surfboard or some luggage secured to the top of a car or van with roof rails using bungee cords.
Bernardo… Come on🤦🏼♂️😂…
I genuinely curious how did that happen that you have come first time in US while perfectly speaking American English?
Why does everyone from Europe always visit the south and the south west when they come to the u.s. and then have all these stereotypes of us . Try visiting the northwest or northeast you'll get a completely different country
2012
where he's from anyone know?
Portugal
Portugal
❤❤❤❤
O plastico é no ecoponto amarelo
come to india.
bhai teri country visa dene mein itna time kyu lagati hai
Hey brother can I translate your video into Arabic and reshare it?😅
If you haven’t already done so, please check out the US regulations on flying drones.
I think he only knows the Indian regulations
😄😄😄
Most of your content is great and I say most because this is 2023 and we should not be glorifying SUVs anymore.
ChicK-fil-A is the best sandwish place in America 😋
AMER'CA
1.37 i like how quiet it is here...i was expecting to be a bit more...gun shots? 😂😂😂😂 never stepping my foot in America
Love your videos always, but I think you have to mention somewhere in the video this is sponsored by a company ?
I hope you don't get shot while there
Beautiful scenes
