    Teachers like these bring out the true beauty of theories and concepts. They want their students to dive deep into what is being taught and not study for exams alone. This is from a student who is fed up of the education system he is in. May The Almighty God shower lots and lots of blessings on teachers like these ✨

    My question is if we have two un identical batteries with no stated internal resistance connected to an external circuit, what will be the net emf?

  • @BOBO_4869

    Really nice video, thanks a lot. But notice this only is the case when the cell has internal resistance - if it doesn't (in exam questions), the current added up with be the same as if it was connected to only 1 cell, so the degree that the branched current in different cells will decrease more substantially than with internal resistance

    • @indianstud4789
      @indianstud4789 2 года назад +4

      Current also increases with voltage increase in series but since resistance gets added up more in series comparative to the adding of resistance in parallel parallel combination therefore it provides more current....this is similar to the concept of greater current produced by parallel connected resistors despite producing less equivalent voltage than the resistors connected in series.....

      Current will be constant in series. Think of it as conservation of charges.

    • @oreowithurea5018
      @oreowithurea5018 Год назад

      Take a circuit with two battery attached to each other in circuit, the current that will flow from one terminal to first battery to second terminal of second battery needs to be constant due to conservation of charges, you can't have more or less current through the load as that would mean more or less charges go inside than that come outside, this will burst your circuit.
