Only been in Navarre for a little over 5 years after I retired out of the military. Here is my take: Navarre is a much closer knit community than gulf breeze. Lots old families here that have been here for generations. Huge military active and retired due the close proximity to hurlbert field. Generally I have seen the people to very welcoming to new people moving to Navarre. We have met so many locals here that we interact with on a regular basis. Best thing I can suggest is that you lost the Colorado mind set and embrace the Florida laid back lifestyle. One example is for instance if we go out to eat at local place be it in Navarre or Pensacola beach during a semi peak time, when the server is apologizing for the wait for the food or them being understaffed, we tell them it’s cool we’re locals. It seems to put them at ease and unless the service is really horrible I leave a above average tip. They will remember you.

Chad thank you for your comment. Navarre definitely has a close knit community and we’ve seen that.

Interesting info! Like you, we're used to housing developments with new homes. I've found it very odd to have a handful of new homes thrown in with old, rundown houses. It makes it difficult to look online for a home because you don't know what the neighboring houses look like.

Cindy thank you for your comment. Not having the newer developments has been a struggle but ultimately the beach lifestyle overcame that for us 😃

Navarre is well positioned though as you can enjoy the fun of Pensacola and Destin.

If I move to Navarre, it will be for the beach. Daughter will be in college so no worries on schools. Scooters is the best restaurant in Navarre. Grand Marlin is good in Pensacola but haven’t had a great meal in Pensacola besides there.

Navarre beach is truly special and beautiful. We’ve grown fond of Stripes in Navarre, wings are fantastic!

I’m glad you chose gulf breeze. Because you’re right, we don’t want you in Navarre.

I am always so amazed at why school districts are so important to people. I would never put my kids in a public indoctrination center...ever. So, for me, it's more advantageous to find a lower-rated school district so I can at least hope to less in taxes for a stupid school I'll never use.

Thank you for watching. We came from a private Christian school to the public schools in the Emerald coast and have been pleasantly surprised

Stay away if you don't like Florida! We are true god fearing Americans that don't embrace pronouns or the woke mentality. I am a 7th generation Florida family and we don't put up with people moving here and putting it down. Simply move to California.

Micheal I’m not sure you’re familiar with our channel…. But we’ve embraced the mentality in Florida on many videos and in fact fled a blue state for it. At the same time we like to paint a picture from our experiences and what others may not like about an area. We do the same for every city we cover….

"Snowflake" is a derogatory slang term for a person, implying that they have an inflated sense of uniqueness, an unwarranted sense of entitlement, or are overly emotional, easily offended, and unable to deal with opposing opinions. ❄❄❄❄❄❄❄❄❄❄❄❄❄❄❄❄❄❄❄❄❄❄❄❄❄❄❄

Allow me to go first…. I’ve lived in Navarre for 25 years. Locals do have a problem with newbies… like you; for saying the things you’re saying in this video. Shame on you. And I have to admit, I’m embarrassed for you for calling out Navarre locals to comment first.
I can honestly say we won’t notice you don’t live here, nor do we care. However, I will welcome you to Santa Rosa County. It doesn’t matter which town you live in…. you’ll see how shady Santa Rosa County truly can be within time.
I can’t wait to see how you feel about Navarre once you experience your first major hurricane. No one in GB will be coming to your aid.
This was truly an embarrassing video on your part, and for future reference the best advice I can give you is to leave your wife out of your videos.
She definitely wouldn’t get the attention she’s desperately seeking in Navarre.

Well…. We made this video in a playful manner. But you may have done more damage as a Navarre local than we ever could have.

@@EmeraldCoastReloTeam actually, I would say you have done more damage to your reputation; due to your knowledge of Navarre. (Or lack thereof, in your case)
You’re comparing apples to oranges. Gulf Breeze has zero access to any type of beach. They are surrounded by the Santa Rosa Sound and the Pensacola Bay.
Navarre Is the only source of revenue for Santa Rosa County, yet we don’t see a dime.
You listed a few schools in Navarre that were ranked higher than the others particularly the West Navarre schools. They have more funding, since students of Gulf Breeze attend those schools. Our high school is almost double its capacity…. I guess you could say those who controlled the counties money (Pace) likes to take our profits and allocates to every town….except Navarre.
As far as restaurants…. That falls in the lap of Pace also. We were a dry county until 2007, which became a lottery.
I’m going to leave it at that. I have a serious problem with arguing with stupidity.

Like I said before, no one will notice you chose GB and it’s obvious no one really cares for your opinion , considering you only have 341 followers…. You’re a tiny “wanna be”, in a very large Gulf, surrounded by people enjoying the laid back Salt Life.
