- Huge Bull Moose Close Encounter Alaska
Decided to add some text in this one to explain what's going on. Not that it's needed, but feedback would be welcome, as here on forward I may continue doing so. Thanks for watching/commenting. Some good raking and head wagging here. BIG bull moose, king of the valley, nearly comes to blows with a lesser bull. Some tense moments. Fun raking and wagging sequence. Enjoy!
Thanks for watching our channel, we are the husband/wife team of Rick and Libby Libbey, (Libby squared), New Hampshire wildlife photographers (and part time Alaska.) It is our passion to document wildlife of any kind, but moose are at the top. In New Hampshire we spend a lot of our spring/summer hours in kayaks photographing loons and moose in the waters of New Hampshire. And hike many miles in Alaska seeking all manner of wildlife in the fall.

Demeanor is everything! I see respect - and deference!!! Gorgeous photography!!!
You read them right, Mimi. And thanks so much again!!!
Great Stuff! Keep it coming.
Thanks lots! We will!
The quality of your videos is fantastic!
Thanks so very much!
Oh he is HUGE....I like the update on him at the end... Father time has a way of doing things. Great video as usual.
So far we know he has survived the rut, still has his antlers, and hasn't been hunted. Fingers crossed that we see him again next year. Thanks for watching!
He is magnificent!
He is that. Thanks for watching.
Very grateful for this opportunity to see such amazing footage!
Kind of you, thanks so much!

Monster
Beautiful Moose
They are indeed!
What a monster..!!!
Amazing video ❤❤❤
My guess is that THEY are post rut...although the big guy still has swelling in his neck...the smaller on has not...could be too that during rut, these animal loose 200+ lbs ... these ARE THE BREEDERS...WITH STRONG GENETICS.. I know outfitters target these monsters...but being a moose hunter myself..the better animal are 3-1/2 to 4 year ol bulls..
I HAVE PASSED on quite a few big guys...let them breed...
I couldn't agree more. These are some strong genetics here. The bigger bull has since kind of stood down and this smaller bull has stepped up to the plate. He's been in several fights. Despite his obvious lack of antler, he has attitude to overcome that. Thanks for watching/replying.
Очень красивое видео, настолько всё живое, натуралистическое, прекрасно показано. Лоси - величественные животные. Thenks.
Thank you!
Is this bull still around?
He was seen last year but has not been seen since, he sat out the rut since 2019. This video was his last year of dominance, 2018.
Tremendous.. Is this Alaska or BC? We have decent count in Maine but of course Alaska has the giants
Alaska. We are in New Hampshire but it's really tough to get our lenses on moose up here, so we head to AK for the rut month.
@@MooseManNaturePhotos what area in NH? I have a camp on Aziscohos lake near Rangeley.. Pass through Colebrook areas on my way to Route 16.. Pretty decent moose sightings in that area of Rangeley. Pittsburg. Oquissoc.
Like,
Is that scars on his side?
He has an old scar on his left side but otherwise there's a lot of wet hair that looks like scarring but isn't.
Think your videos are amazing either way. Sometimes you need to direct your attention to the words, so you may miss the action ? That’s a great clip 👍
That's always a risk so I hoped to put the words where they didn't deter from the action. Maybe people will watch it again for that reason? Thanks as always!!
Exactly. I did watch it more than once for that very reason 👍
@@sharongladu322 Maybe you were able to get more out of it the second time. (:>)

Always enjoy your videos!! 😊
Always enjoy reading you there, MP!!!
