I was born in the 80s and grew up in the 90s. For me this is more then lyrics or a rap song. It's a feeling. It's a feeling of my generation. Each generation has it's own feelings. I am sure other generations can get the vibes of other generations. As I did for my parents. But a vibe is not a memory. You had to be alive at this time. You had to feel the world as it was at this decade. Only then you can understand the real meaning of this Song. It is something which was and never will be again. At least it is history of a time period on this planet. In a few hundred years nobody will remember. But this is a picture in a frame for me. If I wanna go back and remember how it was go be young, to have every week another chick, to live my life and don't care about tomorrow...then I come back in here. Like a treasure which I keep on a secret holy place, where only myself has access to it.

Even though I wasn’t around wen this came out I def understand where u coming from cuz every since I heard this soug I either listen to it or think of it almost everyday and I feel it. The lyrics, the harmony, the feeling u get form this song is pure love and I feel it everytime. Love this song and def one if not my favorite Tupac songs.

Whereas you have clowns today like Drake, who are talented, but have a clear advantage and a privilege but they're completely unaware of their advantage / privilege. knuckleheads out here thinking real hip hop is some of this foolishness. They need to listen to a classic track like this.

For the youngsters who wish they were born in the 70s & 80s---no internet or cellphones in the early 90s. You communicated by pagers & beepers, pay phones, & landlines. B.E.T. was a luxury that few could afford, so you had to order music videos on regular TV program called the "The Box" and a music video cost $1.99 to $3.99 each time & you had to buy magazines like "Right On" or Vibe" to learn more about your favorite artists. You had to buy CDs or cassettes, no downloading back then! I'm so glad I was born in 78 though! I was a teenager when Tupac was around so I witnessed the G.O.A.T. It's sure sucks to be born in 1990s or later when all they great artists were creating art at that time! With all this new technology we didn't have in the 80s & 90s, these youngsters today still feel cheated....I feel so sorry for you guys, well at least you have your smartphones & Internet
