@@indiainmotion Quality is more important than Quantity. You have wonderful viewers than those people who have millions of views. You can understand from the comment section itself :).
Amazing! You have wonderfully captured each and every moment of the festival. The climax was damn touching, people departing with tears in their eyes. May this brotherhood prevail till infinity.
Absolutely. The best thing about the festival for me was seeing the camaraderie between the people. On the downside the new generation doesn't seem to be as interested in the proceedings as the older people. All the young kids were bummed when they heard that the orchestra on the second evening was cancelled.
This is so very beautiful. We know little or nothing about our peoples of the far north and northeast. Thank you for bringing their culture , lives and joyful celebrations to us all. Your videos are a joy to watch !
Add up my 100000000000 like for this video. What a beautiful tradition and culture. Thanks a lot is just a word for posting this video. Truly enjoyed it.
Thnks sir it's been a imence pleasure to see my culture and you had brought smile to himanchal people. Basicely I am from Mandi H.P but for kinnour a always have a very unique feeling.
Even thousands thanks wouldn't suffice. A place is either known for its cultural heritage or natural beauty, or even both. Anna, you not only makes us experience the cultural immersion from comfort of our home but also invigorates the spirit of a traveler for the natural beauty captured in your lenses. I would personally want to accompany you someday to these unexplored heavens.
I have travelled a lot in India but not to Himachal Pradesh, utter Pradesh, utterkand and places such as zanskar, Ladakh spiti. When I watch vlogs like these i feel I have missed the best part of India. I am so glad that channels like yours are being shared. Your each vlog is so wonderful and unique and great to watch and the hard work is really appreciated. Thank you.👍🏽💯🇬🇧
Wow.... It's a beautiful video. Thanks for making this video..you have preserve n spread our culture in front of the world. Otherwise it will become hidden treasure. 🙏🙏
You are welcome Kusum. Thank you and everyone at Nesang for making me feel welcome during the festival. And I hope that you'll continue preserving your culture for a long time and not water it down for the sake of convenience.
I heartlty Thanx to you for sharing this video.. I literally got goosebumps to watch this Incredible Culture .... Wish I could attend this Holly Momment.... #JaiOrmikshuG and #JaiShankcheyKyuJi #BrotherSisterRraltion #SaveCulture
You are welcome Aman. Indeed Kinnaur has some amazing culture and you guys should work hard to preserve it. I sincerely wonder how this festival would be like the next time after 12 years
Absolutely, I would love to come back for your Flaich festival. Btw, may I know your name. We probably met in Nesang this time but I’ll make sure to come say hello the next time I’m there.
You rocked in traditional attire! Thanks for the narrations, such beautiful people with a rich heritage🙏🏽 My son (11 years old) watches your videos with me and thinks you should take people along with you, lol...😆.
Your 11 year old probably has a better financial sense than me. But in all seriousness, I don't want to commercialize these things any more than I already do with my videos. These festivals will never be the same if you have hundreds of tourists milling around shoving their cameras at the faces of all these villagers.
India In Motion very true Saravana, tourism impacts heavily in many facets and distorts the essence and way of life of the people and the environment in which they live. My son is yet to discover the beauty of solitude! Respect to you for bringing these experiences into our homes.
this time you upped it with your narration and additional footage. made it more beautiful and enchanting. preservation of culture explains all round prosperity of kinnaur they are blessed by their deities. thanks for sharing. as always i am looking forward to your next vedio.
You are welcome Mr.Anil. Sorry I was unable to check out your Raid video. I’ve been incredibly busy whenever I visit Peo. Always in a rush to edit and upload my videos before setting off on the next leg of my trip. It has been quite hectic, this Autumn in Kinnaur.
+India In Motion you are enjoying the autumn and so am i through your lens. thanks. keep rolling. best of luck. i am waiting for the next video from you.
As always sir , very enchanting video !! The way of your narration is great . Very informative video. A marvellous work that takes us to different world.:)
Very beautifully captured..you have documented something now which can't be lost in time...the upcoming generations will appreciate this effort of yours...they will learn that a rich positive Heritage should always be conserved. I myself going to make a trip to Kinnaur district, starting from Recong Peop, let's see how it will go, i want to cover Spiti too but hope Jannuary will be benevolent on me.

It's very relaxing and at the same time informative to watch your videos. It would be great if you can provide the link of all vidoes of a series. It's sometimes difficult to search and watch them in right sequence.
Happy to see there are no longer animal sacrifices involved. This makes such festivals much more pious. Also really appreciate your work. keep up the good work.
I don't now how this video came before me while surfing the U-Tube. Really wonderful video and you have shooted it like a commercial photographer. I want to add that I visited Nessang in 1980 to attend this unique festival- The Fulaych ( Ukhyaang) of Kinnaur at my friend sh. ST Negi and his wife Mrs Anita Negi, who is village Pardhan from last more than 15 years and a renowned personality. I attended this festival right from its start to the last moment. It is an awesome festival and people who are employed outside Kinnaur try to be part of this festival and manage their presence. It has revived my old memories. At that time Satluj used to be crossed through "JHOOLA" bridge system and road was very narrow and troublesome. Thanks for your contribution in preserving our National heritage. Gian, Ambala now at Beas (Amritsar)
This festival reminds me of maa nanda devi rajat yatra which is also celebrated once in 12 years in kumaon region of Uttrakhand.....villagers take maa nanda rajat yatra to bedini bugyals...
Thanks man. I did shoot some timelapses but I couldn't get the framing right (just carrying a 50mm lens for my timelapse camera). And moreover my laptop is not charging ever since I came back and I can't process the timelapse clips even if I wanted to.
Sir please try showing these documentaries to discovery or National Geographic or history channel... They will really take these videos an also tie up with you.
how much time it took to reach the temple and then come back? It is such a rough way.. were you able to walk at ease like the locals? These deities doesnt have any face, i saw something similar in Kulu.. they also have festival where they carry gods on such bamboos and travel such a long distance.... so different and beautiful!
It took between 2 to 3 hours each way. The deities do have faces. Ormic Shu has some 18 faces if I'm right. Most of the Kullu Devtas have faces as well and they are not hidden under the long matted hair like here.
Lol, the locals all compliment me on how easily I was able to walk on this terrain just like them. Seriously, these are some of the easiest trails you'll find in the mountains.
I'm in Bangalore these days. Working on a timelapse project. And all my footage from Sangla valley was lost due to a corrupted SD card. So we'll have to wait a bit for my new content from Spiti. I'm planning to head there on the first week of Jan.
THANKS. And not directly related to this video, but ... How clear and present is the danger from wild animals in mountainous terrain? You have spoken about a late night encounter once, and the locales warning you on another occasion - Any other 'wild' experiences?
I would say that the chances of getting attacked by wild animals in these parts is as much as being stuck by lightning. The chance is there but it is extremely extremely rare.
There's lots of similarities between the culture of Kinnaur and chamoli of Uttrakhan . We also celebrate nanda Devi raj jaat after every 12 years . I wish you could come to chamoli for jaat
