So convince me the diesel is worth it. I bought a 2.0 TDI Diesel Golf 10 years ago over the petrol and I HATED its lack of power from a standing start. Is the torque difference under heavier load really that noticeable? I don’t care that the petrol isn’t quite as fuel efficient.
Great review Mal, i like the fact that you mention number of ISO fix in the car. It does matter when you have 2x twins in a span of 2 & 1/2 years period. Therefor using baby/toddler seats with a ISO fix is a life saver, especially at the times you need to quickly remove or install seats in the car. Next time, i know its a hassle mate, but try to get 4-5 kids with the seats and take them for a short drive and record it. Or just put 4 children seats in the car, so we can see the space and comfort of the car. Not many people do such. How's the 3rd raw A/C and windows tints/sun shads?
Yh like you I have only 2 toddlers but I'm trying to find reasons why I wouldn't buy this carnival in Si version over the Sorento and Mazda cx8 lines costing the same....
Great review. There's so much to this vehicle not enough time. Am driving a 2015 V6 Grand Sedona in South Africa (Platinum in Australia). Unfortunate that we are not getting the facelift V6 here, so am considering importing one from Australia when it's time to change. I can't drive another car after this one, my grandkids will kill me.
LDV has one concerning issue. When you reach the lms for a service, your system goea back to the 80s and all you can see is the kmhs and speedo. It basically makes you have to get the service immediately if you want access to those modern feature.
Sir, if this car comes to india then there is a tough competition for Toyota Innova, innova crysta, which is segment leader from the last 15 years for families, tour operators, corporate offices.
Mighty Heart Different segment, in Indonesia we have both Innova and Sedona/Carnival. Innova is much smaller, even the Alphard still smaller than this Korean minivan.
I haven't, but Richard and Matt recently put it up against the Pathfinder. Cheers, Mal Flynn www.carsguide.com.au/car-reviews/holden-acadia-lt-2wd-76620
Still the overwhelmingly more popular option over the petrol V6. I'd be surprised if we don't see a 2.0-litre petrol engine in the next generation. Cheers, Mal Flynn
It's a rubbish car. Steering wheel vibrate and cars not stable. Wind noise horrible need to be fixed. Engine and transmission was good overall I don't recommend it. SUV over minivan at any time. ** Kia sedona low option with hydraulic steering
Until you want to climb into the rear row seats. I have one and I have no steering vibration or wind noise. Given the shape of an SUV, I'd be surprised at any that had less noise than a low set van like this.
You act like plenty of SUVs don't have poor steering wheel feedback or an overabundance of wind noise. For large families, if you're being objective, an SUV is gonna offer very little over an MPV, and force A LOT of compromises in return.
@@darienmiller1032 I drove kia Sedona/Carnival low option with hydraulic steering where others with electric steering I don't know if it behavior difference like kia Sorento / Hyundai santa fe
I just bought a Kia Carnival 2019, and I love the power, practicality and fuel efficiency.
Nice
Wat is the fuel consumption in city, highway thx
Where can you get one
@@jaroka01 ..fuel consumption I get on average 900KM per 80 litre fuel

Here in Thailand you have Qi charger in the forward center console on the SXL. Also a convenient step board.
Loved the review, thanks Mate !
omg your kiddies are adorable!
Trying to convince the hubby we need a carnival for us & our kids!

I'm already sold on the Kia Carnival for my family!!!

I wish they sold this in the UK! I wonder how much it would cost to import? 🤔
It's the car God would drive.
Wow,KIA Carnival,nice review!!

Dennis Laur I’m returning to Australia from the US and am planning to get one. Pity about the wireless charger
Fantastic demo
Where is the Sunroof?? All Family member need that
Actually... I know carnival for export is named 'sedona'
I have the 2020 platinum diesel amazing car and so roomy
If only more people buy with some parts of their head and not with their....
I'm currently torn between KIA Carnival & LDV G10 Executive!
Sharifuddin Md Anwar what is your final decision man? Also struggling in them, and also struggling in Honda Odyssey
I think I'm leaning more towards the G10 Executive due to the price, the 2 moon roofs, flip down entertainment screen, etc.

Nice explaining Nice voice
Most of nowadays SUVs are actually vans with bulkier design elements.
Uhm ldv g10 people mover is nicer if i say so myself, not an suv but it comes with loads of tech and its a 9 seater.

My diesel gives me 10.7 per 100 k, even around town!
My toyota fortuner 2.4 turbo diesel give me 7.9l/100km
The price of kia carnival is 25 lakhs
I want it, unfortunattely in Europe i can’t
I prefer the hyundai imax aka starex in malaysia
Good one
isnt this a sedona?
Very close. In Australia it wears Carnival badges. Cheers, Mal Flynn
In South Africa it's called a Sedona
jorge perez in Malaysia it’s call Grand Carnival
Korbiye Guitar Channel In Indonesia it’s called Grand Sedona 😂
here in the Philippines its called grand carnival

I'll get the diesel, much more torque and fuel efficiency.

2.2 diesel is better than 3.3 petrol.
