So much of the noise is those tires. The GY territory MTs are notorious. Throw on some BFGs or Toyos or something and you're golden. They're arguably better offroad anyway.
Round fender flares on square body is a bad design choice by Ford. Removable roof is dumb-useless feature. Would be better if they offered pano sunroof as an option. These dumb roof panels will leak and rust around the edges in no time. 2.7 V6 is too small for the car which reflects in terrible fuel consumption. Raptor is no solution either at 100K+++ MSRP I would rather drive 2 years old Mercedes G-wagen than Ford.
