JB I know you are a TRUCK guy, and very knowledgeable at that with a lot of information. You hit on a couple things in this video that I feel would bring value to your channel and viewers and is very relevant to HD trucks. In this video the points you hit on that I don't hear anyone else talking about; 1. you feel Keystone makes the best solar package. Why...maybe you could explain why and compare it to Jayco, Grand Designs, ect. 2. you stated that the solar package reduced the cargo capacity. How much...maybe you could compare three of the same 5th wheels with the three different solar packages to see the difference in cargo capacity. There are a lot of youtubers putting out content on new 5th wheels but no one is talking about or comparing the solar packages to a generator equipped 5th wheel and weights they will incur to your cargo/towing limits. Living on the west coast, as you know, dry or desert camping in southern Arizona/California is HUGE each year and solar plays a major factor when snow birds are camping for 4-6 months. Obviously this $25-30K solar package is not very common as Ben alluded to he was the first to order it and the sales man/regional didn't even know what all was included!!

I have more questions for future vids. The type electrical system, battery type and size, how many watts/amps is the package good for? If you want to add more solar is it capable (I know unlikely, still worth bringing to the manufacturers attention)?
Love the channel! It's so nice to tour in virtual.

I have the Shocker air receiver hitch for my 3500 AT4. Love it pulling my trailers

How long have you had the hitch? Is there anything you would change about the setup?

@@benbyerly1996 Had hitch with truck since September . No snow so didn’t get to try it out much pulling sled trailer. I did put a couple hundred miles with it and really noticed less jerk going across road joints . I use a Milwaukee 18v air compressor to fill. Need to deflate to remove hitch. I purchased a refurbished hitch to save some money. Looked like brand new I’m very happy with the Shocker Receiver Hitch

JB I don’t know if You will get this or not, but here goes. I got My ‘24 Chevy 3500 last August. Love it. Your video’s really helped Me to get the options, I really wanted. Thank You! Now, I am ordering a new travel trailer. One of the options is a camera for the rear of the trailer. How does this work? I have the dual plugs on the back bumper. Do I have to have a separate monitor for that camera, or will the camera play on the Chevy screen? Thanks. P.S. an idea for a truck video, might be to show Us dummy’s what a re-gen looks like on a Chevy. I know I have probably had one, but have seen no indication on the dash panel, that one has, or is ocurring. Any info would be appreciated. Once again Thank You for the video’s!

The most important part of any trailer is the tires. I have changed 40+ trailer tires on the Interstate Hwy. Carried 2 spares. Obviously dangerous, expensive, and blowouts always damage the trailer. Problems always when near the rated load, and unknown speed ratings.

Changing the hitch is one of the reasons that manufacturers recently have been giving as one of the potential causes of frame flex. Just something to be aware of.

I also just recently learned that if you have an air goosebox and air bags in your truck also, it voids the frame warranty. One or the other is ok. But not both.

The truck is not equipped with air bags. But that is good information. Thank you.

My ONLY complaint about the 5th wheel is that there are no leaf awnings that roll out over the slides when they come out. They are a huge help, but to each their own. Nice.
