UAE has an amazing advanced system in terms of documents, business setup and governemental process. To be honest I have not seen this anywhere in the world.
If I cut all ties with Canada, to go to Dubai, I suppose it looks better to the CRA to be in Dubai for a substantial period of time. So you would recommend getting a tax residence visa by being there for 180 days. To keep the tax residence visa, do I have to be in Dubai for 180 continuous days each following year? Or do you only have to do that for the first year, and then following years, you could be in Dubai for 90 days a year or even less?
They only do that if you have irregular transfer patterns, or are not careful cashing out crypto. You can check out my cash out tutorial here: ruclips.net/video/Owk3z6BWJ9o/видео.html
For those who are very rich, is Dubai better or the same as Monaco? In Monaco there is also no personal income tax and the corporate tax can be avoided if the company is located elsewhere.
You can own Freehold properties in Dubai and pass them down to your heirs if you desire. You can’t do that in MC as all the properties in The Principality are leaseholds. This means that you or your children/grandchildren/great grandchildren and so on will have to pay a leasehold payment in (X) amount, to the landowners at the time of lease renewal, in order to continue to stay in or rent out the properties. The lease renewal can last for up to 60 years, 99 years, 120 years, etc… depending on the terms of the leasehold agreement and your heirs will either have to pay the lease renewal, move out, or sell the lease to another buyer before it expires. The value of the property will continue to drop as time goes by and eventually hit zero when the lease expires. I see this as the wealthy landowners (modern day Feudal Lords/Oligarchs and their offsprings) ripping off the very rich millionaires and billionaires wanting to live or have properties in The Principality. To sum it up: Dubai provides a much better deal when it comes to owning properties.
You said to maintain your residency you cannot stay outside Dubai more than 6 months but what is the minimum requirement for staying in the country. Do you have to stay 6 months in Dubai to receive tax free status.
@@WealthyExpat I thought I heard somewhere that you only need to be in Dubai for 1 day every 6 months to keep the Dubai residency visa? You said to get tax residency visa in Dubai, you need to be there for 180 continuous days. Is that just for the 1st year? Then after, you could do the 1 day every 6 months? Thank you for the great videos.
Rafael, I appreciate your videos a lot but please be a little respectful towards other countries too (Asian countries)..please do not underestimate or target any particular country as you did in this video for India and the Philippines..you have got billionaires and millionaires residing in these countries too..I am from India but currently residing in Dubai and to be very honest 80% of Dubai is actually made by Indian businessmen and other workers..

If you are a citizen of st Kitts and Nevis .....you don't need to spend 180 days in Dubai to pay zero tax?
and yet the COL is a whole lot higher in the UAE!

That's what he said...most rich people that moved to dubai are from India and the Philippines. What's wrong with that ?
