I’m not sure about these two, I find it sad that Steve wasn’t able to find a woman who actually liked him for who he was or chose him first. Instead he regressed back to his first love , plus Jancy always seemed to have the superior chemistry, however I did like that these two had scenes together again. 🥰
I guess we’ll see what happens going forward.

@@hannahwilliams5681 Really, cos Steve literally stood by why his friends publicly slut shamed Nancy back then and bullied her. I find that far more disgusting & indefensible & Jonathan was the only one who defended her.

saying steve "regressed" is wwwway off base. he's grown and changed for the better as a person, and part of that includes deeply caring about people and knowing what it means to do *anything* to keep them safe and to do right by them, the same way nancy was so determined to do right by barb and her parents after her death. and since that was what ultimately caused them to split ( steve not getting how much it meant to her to give barb's parents closure, and nancy not being honest about how much her guilt was eating at her ) it's actually an awesome addition to their arc as a couple to revisit their relationship now that he has that understanding. and nancy's become way more outspoken about her truth, which is also super important, since her keeping her emotions all bottled up is what caused her to have that "bullshit" rant at the party.
jancy only had chemistry in s1, after that they only got together because they were weirdly pressured into hooking up by a middle-aged man who tried to get them drunk, because the duffers wanted to rush them into becoming a couple, and then they argued their way through s3.
