In the second clip the ump is right,number 13 is not the lead runner so he is out if there are two runner on a base and the runner on the ground number 7 is out because he was tagged out.
There are two types of outs a tag out and force out, in a force out all the infielder has to do is touch the base while holding the ball in a tag out the infieder has to physically tag the runner.
So is there a particular time when they can only do a tag out vs a force out?
@@zackdoes3022 If there is runner on first and batter hits the ball he has to run to first which means the runner on first has to run to second this is a force out situation for both runners,if on the other hand if the runner on first decides to steal second, he has to be tagged out.if there is a runner on third, nobody on second,and the batter hits the ball, the runner on third is not forced to run to home plate so has to be tagged out if he tries to go to home plate.
Yes manager(they aren't called coaches )and umpire arguments are a big part of baseball there are entire videos on it.the Earl Weaver/ Umpire Bill Haller of 1980. is one of the best.the other is the Terry Collins and Umpire Tom Hallion blow up.

@@zackdoes3022 the manager is the boss(actually the owner is the highest boss)in the old days they would manage and play which is why they still wear the uniform of the team.but there are assistant coaches pitching coaches entire medical team ,trainers, third and first base coaches and so on.but the manager is the top guy he decides everything he also picks which pitcher starts and and take him out of the game whenever he decides, on the field the catcher is the field general nothing happen until he throws down the signal to tell the pitcher what type of pitch he's to throw the pitcher and the acatcher together is called the battery.also the manager's job isn't very secure they get fired all the time.
There are so many plays per game and every team plays 162 games per season that a few bad calls really don't matter, also in the old days an umpire's call was absolute now many of the calls can be reviewed.
162 games per season. That’s crazy. That’s so many game. How many do they play a week. Like 2 or 3?
@@zackdoes3022 No, usually one per day, they usually will play one team in a 4 game series. at any given day there may be a dozen games played and 4 or 5 broadcast, and this doesn't even include the 200 plus minor league teams the over 300 college baseball teams and the over 15K high school teams.Note at the beginning of the baseball season its early april and it may be near freezing temps in some of the northern states.MLB is the number one league on the planet for stadium attendance over 70M will se MLB game in a season over 40M will see a minor league games.
