Re Deion’s suggestion, I was thinking you could probably do something like that if you implement a Duel Links style banlist where you can’t have multiple copies of cards of the same limited level. So for example you could have one copy of Halqifibrax or Auroradon but not both together (maybe limit Selene as well). Or you could have any one of Verte, Dragoon and DPE but you couldn’t use them together. I like using Verte to access Overload Fusion for Ancient Gears and I know Cyber Dragons do too. This would allow both those decks to keep Verte for that purpose and prevent people from just splashing DPE and Dragoon into decks they don’t belong.
Yea I'd like that archetype format idea, I always figured that banned cards should be allowed in a deck if the majority (say 30) cards have the same key word in them, like Cryston
Easy answer- I want The Forceful Sentry back. It's gotten way easier to search from the deck, and for most modern decks, it's not too rough to deal with anymore. Me, I want it for the information more than the deck bounce effect.

We have the theme format. We call it our protagonist league. It's like you're a protagonist in yugioh with your "thing". Or a pokemon gym leader with a theme. It's really fun and we have a ruleset. It makes a lot of things no one plays viable and fun
I love the cubic deck so versatile but i just wish when i played cubic that trinity was easier to bring out by using graveyard as well. I love the cubic deck but the last resort boss monster never gets brought out unless u go out of ur way to get him out. AND NO ANIMATION WHEN U FUSION SUMMON TRINITY UGH 😭

i love the in archetype idea also but it leads to the question of how much non engine should be allowed like 10? 15? (main deck) of non engine cards cuz people will still want hand traps and removal like twin twister and feather duster or stick to pure in archetype and welp good luck!

17:11 there is a card that can negate superpoly. The sacred beasts new support spell for hamon, cerlean skyfire actually negates superpoly and I think is the only or one of the only cards that can out speed superpoly. Imo if they give the sacred beasts just a bit more support it can become a god tier deck. Cause already you got a good field spell with a draw 2 every turn and a trap that negates your opp Mon effects, gain LP when they summon, and banish their cards when they go to the Gy. Plus a cheap fusion that can banish the whole enemy field.
