Luffy taking down a pasifista in one hit is such an epic comparison to pre time skip since previously it took the entire crew going all out to barely defeat just one of them
To their credit, it was all mugiwaras x the real Kuma
Same in Wano when Luffy single handedly knocked out a giant in one punch. Comparing to needing the whole crew to take down the giant during the Gecko Moria arc
@@thetonedynasty1869To be fair,it wasn't a normal giant,it was literally Oars aka The Continent Puller. The giants from Wano are barely on his level lol. A much iconic comparison would be Luffy one-shotting that giant in the colosseum cuz bro bodied Luffy's Bull.

"That's slow" is one of the best moments after the timeskip, even if it happended right after. Seeing luffy become that strong, it was awesome.
Before: _the whole crew works together and strains themselves to defeat a single Pacifista_
After: "Git gud scrub."
The best part is how this is not a bs power up.
Like Dragon Ball (as the one that came before OP) DB was cool and all.
But the story quickly broke itself with power ups, and well alot of other storys dosse to.
Where you have to give every minor character broken levels of power to keep up with the MC
But Oda made this mad powerup feel soo powerful, ( exept some minor blot holes if we really nittypicy)
Haki fit right into the world and mad everyting next level, yet old eniemys right from the start still work as big deals.
Its just ... and this been said a billon times, so well crafted, and more importantly COOL!
I’ve watched a clip of that moment more times than I can count. It gives me chills every time.
we can all agree luffy breaking the mirror fighting katakuri was the most badass!!!
Even Sentomaru couldn’t let the disrespect to Luffy’s name slide

ofc,. i think sento' seeing how luffy dispared and cared for his crew as they got "popped" by kuma when they first met, showed he had compasion and not just a selfish pirate as he was used to., my theory anyhow,.

the sanji upgrade isnt too noticable yet but when he first kicked a pacifista he badly hurt his leg but this time he kicked it with no issue and said he "broke its neck"

Reileigh simling to luffy declacing that he will be king of the pirates is still one of my favorite moments
Before, it took the ENTIRE crew to barely destroy one pacifista, now Luffy can one shot these things.
Even at the current point in the manga, Luffy has spent more time with Rayleigh than any of the Straw hats. So it makes sense that they have such a strong bond with one another
Also with luffy's outfit, instead of wearing a buttoned up vest, he is wearing a long sleeved shirt unbuttoned, with frills on his cuffs and at the bottom of his shirt. Looks more pirate-y and he is proudly showing off the X scar he got on his chest from Akainu
And Zoro spend more time with Perona than entire Strawhat crew 😂
he got the shirt from boa who wore it when she was sick. Same with the coat that was used to sneak him into impel down as well
Its kinda sweet how the shirt still reappears even in the newest episodes and part of amazon lilly always being there with him

The scene with luffy thanking Rayleigh and telling him he’s gonna become king of the pirates had me crying like a baby the first time I saw it. Luffy was the unwavering spirit and they broke him. He literally cried until he passed out. He started lashing out at the people around him. This was his “IM BACK!” moment.
I've been waiting for this for so long. Eveything with these 6 episodes just hits so hard. The new opening, the character redesigns, and the way they reintroduce everyone, callbacks and all? Top-tier writing. Here's to another 600+ episodes of great content! ^^

It's heartwarming to see how many friends all the Straw Hats made during their time apart. They might not have had their crew, but they weren't alone.

It was so funny to find out that the only reason Zoro was the first to arrive back in Sabaody was that Perona took him there! And then he's so damn smug about it! 🤣
I remember first listening to that intro and being like “oh my god Ichi ni sunshine go is just like ichi ni San shi go which is counting to 5” and it blew my mind.

Yeah. It took the whole crew to beat 1 pacificsta. To be fair Zoro was in bad shape, but still. Luffy seemed to be back in top form and he needed help. Fans overestimate characters they like though. Like what Kid and Law do at the end of Wano (trying to be vague to not spoil too much). They only won on a technicality. They would have lost if the fight took place anywhere else.
@@yozarian86 yeah that’s true but I think fans over estimating the characters they like goes with the basic anime trope of the mc basically being head above the rest. Like back in marineford when Jack called Akainu trash because Ace got freed & we all see how that ended lol. Yeah that is true for the law & kid stuff as well if any other place & time would’ve been different. Can’t wait to see how he reacts to all of it when he gets there, it’s a journey that’s for sure lol
I mean Yeah Luffy isn’t that strong compared to the rest of the new world, but still there wasn’t a single fight until the end of dressrosa where it looked like he tried. All that time he had g4 and didn’t use it before Doffy because he didn’t need to.

Luffy one-shotting the Pacifista has always been my favourite moment in anime. I think a close second is Akai Shuichi sniping the Black Organisation from 8 miles away 😂
Definitely an awesome moment. Although a good contender for most satisfying is luffy punching that sleazy celestial dragon

@@POCAHONTASBOI Yeah, while training with Mihawk he got lost. Without orientation, he ran around, bumped into a small stone and fell onto a stick, injuring his eye. Nobody has to know. Everybody thinks it was a bad ass fight with Mihawk ... What everybody and at the same time nobody has know is that Nothing Happend. End of story.
Ill never forget when this episode first came out. Luffy dodging the beams and one shotting the Pacifista was so damn hype!

Little trivia.
There's a difference between the manga and the anime about Luffy using Gear Second from now on. As explained by Oda, after the timeskip Luffy not only learned to "jump start" Gear Second at will by using any body part instead of the legs, but he can control which part of his body undergoes this boost: in fact, when Luffy one-shots the Pacifista, in the manga he only had his left arm powered up - something that further enhances the refinement and power he has achieved now.
In the anime this has not been taken in consideration at all and like before the timeskip, as opposed to the manga, his whole body would still be shown to get boosted.
The reveal that Zoro only made it there first because Perona kept him in line 😂
Fun fact: you kept mentioning how good the soundtrack was. It comes from the opening music during this section called “We Go” which was performed by Hiroshi Kitadani, aka the artist who performed the first intro, “We Are”!

Fun fact about the pacifistas beams. They're modeled after the light light fruit so those are actually light lasers being fired. Luffy's observation haki can let him dodge light speed attacks.

For a little funfact: Perona went back to Thriller Bark in the timeskip to get Kumacee. She therefore saw how the home she lived in for several years was ruined by Moria and the strawhats. Especially it must hurt 'knowing' from the Newspaper that her adoptive Father is supposed to be dead, and she didnt even say Goodbye in Thriller Bark
