- Oklahoma State University softball coach Kenny Gajewski is asked about his feelings about and response to pitcher Kelly Maxwell's transfer from OSU to OU. Gajewski's comments came Wednesday during media availability in Stillwater.
I never saw Kelly smile when she pitched for the Cowgirls. Kelly is smiling a lot and she is very happy with the Sooners. She said she's learning a lot about pitching. The proof is in the pudding.
She never said she is learning a lot about pitching at ou. You are a liar. Her stats this season prove she is not better than last year.
I guess winning Most Oustanding Player and a national championship will just have to suffice. 🤡

When Jody left OU it was hard, but you know they wished her the best; 4:41 when the other young ladies transferred to Florida and Tennessee they also did well. There were no hard feelings, but what everyone did to Kelly was wrong and sad. Thank God she is a strong young lady.
Softball is a team sport, I really believe that is all he is saying. He supports his program as he should.
Kelly would have never left OSU if the defense behind her didn’t screw up so bad and lose a lot of games for her, So “man up” on that Kenny.
I'm a OU fan. That means I'm a Kenny Ganewski. You win a national championship for the Sooners and you're a Sooner for life, no matter what else happens.
This transfer portal is tough. Watching some of the best players in the country leave schools where they've had a ton of success to chase championships isn't what any sports fan should want. But-- I'm a Sooner fan. And when it benefits OU i am not going to complain. Then there are other situations Trace Ford always wanted to be a Sooner. The previous coach screwed that up. When he decided to leave OSU it makes sense that he'd go to the school he always wanted to attend. But for fans watching him go to your biggest rival is a difficult pill to swallow. I get it. But I'm in my 40s and have to remind myself these KIDS are in their early 20s. They won't see the world like I do. And if they end up happy, that's all that should matter.
Adding Kelly to the Ou Roaster is not going to make Ou stronger but weaker.... Kelly is only their for a National Title from Ou. I feel like they need Jordy Baul but sadly transfered over to Nebraska and no other pitcher can take that place.

This man is 100% correct. But I will add when he stole Miranda Elsih from Texas Mike white did not act like a little crying bitch. Instead he knocked Osu out of the wcws semi finals to advance to the national championship series. Elish’s last play in softball was a ground out double play off the pitcher who replaced her.

Shocked if Oklahoma finally passed a law outlawing first cousins from getting married. I mean they would still be allowed to screw each other, just not marry That is what would surprise me. That would give YOU the aneurism But perhaps your family tree would finally start to fork.
Her legacy at OSU, will always be her legacy. Do you believe your legacy at OU disappeared when became a coach at OSU? I think you had to take jabs at her and OU, and try to change what you said. For me, what you said, would never have gotten near the reaction, if you had not coached at OSU of all places. You cannot take away the accolades she won there either, just as no one can take away yours. That is all a part of her legacy. Would anyone be happy to see a player to to their rival? No.

His comments were prophetic. Because she tainted what she did at Osu by turning her back on them and leaving for their biggest rival. The fans will NEVER forgive her. And it did not work out for her. Moment ago Osu just took the series from ou. Maxwell was the losing pitcher in game 1. And she gave up a 3 run homer that lead to psi win. I have read other comments from ou fans saying Maxwell actually hurt them this year. She has NO legacy at ou and burned her legacy at osu

He pitched her until the wheels fell off. It hurt her. She has not hurt OU. If she has no legacy at OSU, Kenny has none at OU either. This was not the championship. why should she care? No matter what happens, she will go on and have a life. She pitches for the national team. If she wants to play pro she will. But there is life after softball, and being miserable is no way to love it. He’s a jerk.

You don't need to beg anything for OU fans. They have 4 consecutive national championships and Kelly gets and deserves a lot of credit for that. When Jordy Ball left for Nebraska, Sooner fans were told she wanted to be with her family, and coach Gasso wished her well, no Kenny type tantrums. Kelly seems like a very nice young lady. And did not deserve to be shunned and ostracized like she was in Stillwater. She brought a lot to the sooner softball team, and she wanted more out of it than Stillwater could offer her. If Kenny had an infield as good as the Sooners had in 2023 and 2024
he would get a lot farther in the playoffs.

Her ex teammates just beat her for the second straight day. Ou lost the series to Osu and Kelly Maxwell was a huge reason why. Maybe she is secretly sabotaging ou.
