The sweater you bought at 13:38 is actually a pretty prized fairy kei sweater that can resell for hundreds of dollars! 9000 yen is actually not that bad of a price
People try to sell them for hunderds of dollars, but generally in the community we try to discourage buying from scalpers!! Generally for the Dalmatian sweaters I see people paying around a hundred dollars or less for it, since it is one of the more prized ones as you said. But yeah, there's a lot of scalpers out there, don't let them fool you that their listings for 300 400 or even 500 dollars is what you have to pay for it!! With a little bit of patience I see that most people that have them on their wishlists tend to find them for ok prices. They're especially more common in the US, since that's where they were originally manufactured in the 80s and 90s

those pastel sweaters you were seeing are veryyyyyy collectable and desired. the knitted dalmation sweater is especially desired and im glad u got it because that is a very good price for it. i think usually it sells for $200-300 online..

@@mikanmandarin The style is called Fancy 80’s/Spank!. If you like that style you should really go to Spank! Which popularized it or Happy birthday to you (yes that is the name of the store) and also Kiki2 but you do like that place a lot.

@@ariella_jpg its called Rose(the ones that are glittery are atleast, as some other brands use the same patterns). Rose is probably the most expensive vintage brand for those sweaters. But, if you want similar cheaper brands there is Heartworks and Arielle.
There was a book I was obsessed with back in the day, 12ish years ago or so [ I'm probably old enough to be your older-older sister or young mom LOL I am 36 now] but it's called
"The Toyko Look Book" - I've always been so fascinated with Japan because of how different it is than America, where I live...but also because THE PEOPLE ARE SO ADMIRABLE/CUTE/ADORABLE AND THE FASHION IS OUT OF THIS WORLD♡ I love every unique thing about Japan as a whole. OH & HELLO KITTY🎀😻

It looks blue to me! But I find loads of colours like cream and grey to have undertones like blue or pink that stick out to me when everyone else says they’re not there😭

I actually wished before that I can travel japan just for me to wear extraordinary stuffs like gothic lolita or gyaru fashion. Now im in my 30s and I think i won't be able to do that. But i still love their fashion and how unbothered they are on what a person wears

I absolutely love thrift stores. I enjoy thrift stores more than going to the mall and I know I'm saving money shopping at thrift stores instead of shopping at expensive stores at the mall.

I am egg obsessed tbh. But Mikan not liking egg isnt confusing to me. My grandpa is allergic to eggs and cannot eat them. And while Mikan has the textural issues/flavor issues or whatever and not allergies. I get avoiding eggs. Mikan avoids eggs like I avoid eating Raspberry. Worst fruit ever. No I will not budge. It tastes like ass.
