Hey captainalex did you know things called a joke exists? Also I looked at your channel and just so you know NO ONE IS "HARASSING" YOU THEY JUST POINT OUT THINGS ARE JOKES
Fun Fact: While this works on all DVD box sets, it's impossible to get some Graggle centric episodes back. This is because they couldn't find a suitable replacement for Graggle in some plots. For example, Brush with Greatness used to be Graggle centric, but then they changed it to Marge. A Name once Told, the episode where Graggle changes his name from Gumbly, was completely removed from all DVD box sets due to being too Graggle centric.
A better question in all seriousness is why does Graggle not have a his own themed TV episode? People claim the show has been out of ideas for years, yet Graggle can't get his own episode, even after 33 years.
I heard that the episode 'The Sound of a Graggle' (which I personally think is a underrated classic) was dropped from the Season 2 boxset due to having a scene where Graggle rants about the music business after getting his album idea rejected. Fox was worried that the episode could cause controversy, so instead of censoring the scene, they banned the episode entirely. No one has seen the episode since then.
Graggle's Big Break, the s2 episode where Graggle becomes a celebrity and The Simpson family get dragged into it as a consequence is entirely removed too. It's one of my favourite episodes, and has two really good early celebrity voices, a cameo from Johnny Carson and Harry Dean Stanton's guest role as "Charlie", Graggle's manager.

Yeah, once Graggle started getting way more popular than Homer they just had to edit him out of his best episodes. Thank God he managed to sneak his way onto the DVD sets!
This works on the original Futurama season 1 DVD too! I believe Graggle was originally going to be a semi re-occurring character in order to flesh out his backstory more (and possibly prime him for the solo spinoff show) but continuity issues and the incident happened so they had to cut him out.

I tried doing this on seasson six but Graggle was in my kitchen. Been locked in the bathroom the past 10 minutes and he won't stop knocking on the door quoteing himself from the show. I think he has the remote.
Yes, we are all familiar with this classic trick. But did you know that Graggle was first censored by the Turkish government? It's due to Graggle's Kurdish heritage. It's why Graggle never appeared in Turkish language releases, never ever. The situation got so bad that Fox cut him out completely around 1997.
You know that is not true! Graggle Simpson is a fan made character! And who is the insubordinate that keeps deleting my truthful comments and evidence?!
Graggle also crossed over other cartoons like SpongeBob, Futurama, Rick and Morty, Batman: The Animated Series, Teen Titans Go (and also the original TT), The Super Hero Squad Show, The Super Mario Bros Super Show/Adventures Of Super Mario Bros 3/Super Mario World, and Dragon Ball to name a few. In these crossovers, Graggle would make corny jokes from older seasons (an example of this is in an episode of Rick and Morty where Graggle turned into a banana and said "I'm Banana Graggle!"), And usually he'd get into a fight or be kicked out.
No one believed me that Graggle was my favourite character, or that I used to collect Gaggle and Bartman merchandise, but now I have proof. I made $100 on bets with people who didn’t believe me!
Here in Chile, a national network aquired the rights to air the Simpsons. The thing is that, for some yet unknown reason, the first 6 months or so the show aired we had the non-erased Graggle versions of the episodes. Some say that the rights for those editions were cheaper due to legal mumbo jumbo, or that maybe Fox accidentally sent those cuts overseas instead of the Graggle-less episodes. Very few people bothered to record those episodes with Graggle in because we thought he wasn't special.
For context: In 1996, Graggle's original voice actor (i can't say his name here) was a Nintendo hating backwards toggaf, so they fired him and replaced him with Quandale Dingle, who continues to voice the character in later seasons
@@KnucklestheEchidna2928 After Quandale replaced the OG voice actor, a certain mouse bought 20th Century Fox, and put the show onto their streaming service, they later pirated box set DVDs and removed Graggle from them.

I applaud the creators for their willingness to respect and maintain the history of their shows. I understand why they removed him, and I think it was the best choice to make. The crimes and scandals of Graggle's real-life counterpart shocked the country when they came out. Manually removing all mentions of the character was the only way to respect the dead and let America heal without canceling the entire show. Graggle was already on the way out at the time, so it wasn't really much of a loss for the team moving forward. I'm glad that - despite the dark circumstances - they were still willing to pay homage to such a loveable character.
