Having a vanity in the bedroom is a good idea. I love my lighted vanity (lights were added). I wash my face, then I sit at my vanity for a little "me time", taking my time to do my skin care while listening to an audiobook or just zoning out. It's two times in my busy day to do a little self care in one of my favorite rooms.
Mary Ellen, you have got to rest. You have not stopped ALL year!!! Probably SEVERAL years. Please STOP! Stop putting pressure on yourself. We all love you dearly & will wait on whatever it takes for you to be ok. Honestly, I’m saying this to myself as well. You & I both have had, it seems, unending loss for several years. I need a break too!! You don’t have to quit doing what is important to you, just give yourself grace 🩷. I wish I could give you a long hug. My daughter would have been 48 years old this year. Receive my virtual hugs like they are real from a momma needing her daughter. 🤗🩷🥰

Could or will you share some of your renovation planning with us? I guess what I'm asking is sharing your thought process and the actual planning of it.
It took me like 14.5 years to motivate myself to do anything real in my home and that was because I ended up having a baby and needed my catchall room for the baby, lol. Oooof I am really struggling with these new stickers book covers. I couldn't find the name of the darn book you showed us 😮😂
I also LOVE that your therapist says you shouldn't should on yourself. I am a therapist too and that is the perfect line. Give yourself some Grace ❤

This is such a cute page Mary Ellen! It's a good idea to so this once in a while just to do a reflection on our lives as well as a basic beginning of thoughts of where we want to do next. I have been trying to come up with some small changes in my life and planer to get out of a rut, I am going to try this type of a page for starters. This is such a needed page in my life right now. I’m preparing for back surgery and am going through a lot. Thank you as always. I just got this sticker book today at Michaels for $7!!!!!!!! It’s the first one I wanted to use when I saw it.
You need to do this month's currently and monthly to reset, and to document these huge changes, and to forgive yourself for taking longer than you expected to move forward during this huge watershed (metaphoric and literal this time.) Don't feel you need to share with us, but your own process is worth the reflection and documentation. 💛 Currently processing.

This is a cool idea for this currently page. I keep thinking I will do something interesting with mine but half the time I don’t do anything with them at all.
Love this currently! The colors are so pretty. My kids start school after Labor Day so September is always my reset month so I know what you mean! Looking forward to a new routine next week.
You should read "The Summer I Turned Pretty" series, its 3 books and I loved them. If you like the TV series, you will love the books.
