This series, most especially season 2, was so well thought out, written, acted, it shook me fr. You could tell the budget was bigger and they were willing to explore deeper issues than your normal generic bl storylines
and that they also had the platform, the budget and the writers

I see many people saying JW did wrong to SJ which is apparently not wrong either, but if you see the story pov of JW it was just his way of protecting himself from getting hurt....when he climbed mountain everyday in morning to visit where he buried ring necklace, when he said " I feel more lonely when I'm with you." The way he was trying to bury his love...this story had very great messages " we adapt to each other, make adjustments to stay together." Can we not just see the story from SJ pov only ? Both had the harsh past but they are different person and overcame it differently.....SJ was goofy, sunshine, warm ,friendly..while JW was cold and would push people away bc he thinks they pity him ... though SJ was perfect but JW was insecure....

I think you're right too, but I feel the writing was a little bit exaggerated, and they could show us the pov of JW more and better, and of course he could've been a little softer with his broken hearted lover

First series that I really don't want the couple to end up back together. Unless JW spends as much time working to get SJ back as he did ghosting him and being cruel ... "say what you have to say and leave" (first reaction to SJ after ghosting him for over a year ), "think what you want" (when SJ expressed bewilderment, pain and confusion at being abandoned), "but I don't like you" (when SJ begged for another chance and promised to change all his ways that JW complained about) ... and making the move on SJ, slept with him then telling him they could be fck buddies ("I don't plan on doing anything as your lover in the future") ... needlessly cruel. Just unforgivable.
8 wretched episodes - until almost at the end of the 8th episode, when he FINALLY listened to SJ's sad voice bleeding with fornlorn confusion, loneliness, pain and yearning - JW being a mercilessly cold and harsh ex. Regardless of the real, underlying reason for the way he broke up with SJ, the deliberate harshness to SJ since he showed up at the village is just too much. Really want to see SJ move on and find someone deserving.
Breaking up on SJ's BIRTHDAY (!) - by leaving a note and completely ghosting him. Not once did he show any remorse or regret. Especially knowing that SJ was abandoned by his parents, it was a particularly cruel way to treat someone he supposedly loved.
That is one world class cold and heartless dick move.

@@dece020 I did not shed a tear when JW cried listening to SJ's messages, ignored all this time ... finally realizing that, despite what he thought (how little he knew SJ), SJ did not quickly forget him and has not moved on.
Instead, my tears fell hard for SJ ... his sad voice pleading to understand what it was he did that was so wrong, hoping nevertheless JW is well, holding him in his heart ... Christmas, his birthday ... wanting to hug him.
Abandoned - but unlike JW and his gf - never once wished him ill.
One of the most satisfying scenes of this wretched S2 ... "I give up".
But he said goodbye properly, and wished JW happiness and good health.
Probably the BL character I have come to love the most after this S2 ... abandoned by his parents but still have the capacity to love deeply ... devoted, loyal, sunny ... and that smile.

Finally, he realised how wrong he was about Seojoon. Everything he did was inexcusable. Upon reading those messages, realisation, guilt and regret came on to him all at once and so he wept. It's not that Jiwoo stopped loving Seojoon. In his most subtle and secretive ways, its very clear that he still cares and even got jealous😉The deliberate hostility he was throwing towards Seojoon was hurting not only Seojoon but also himself. Unlike Seojoon who is very honest and transparent, Jiwoo is a master in fighting and hiding his feelings. I see pain in his eyes each time he was being vile to Seojoon. Although what Jiwoo did and the damages it caused couldn't be undone, he can still fix everything, starting with himself. Knowing how deep and genuine Seojoon's love is for him, they'll be back together at the right time❤️
i think JW just so bad in showing his expression and to react rightly.. there are typical people like this (incl me myself 😔) sometimes when things just got mess in the head we suddenly want to be alone and didn't think that it was selfish for the other. and i'm happy that SJ is so mature and understand that side of JW which make this couple the best ❤ need more person like SJ in real life too, a pure-hearted man.

It's because of jiwoo himself. He felt lonely even when he's in relationship with kang seo joon. Once he was left alone due to his parent fatal accident(death), he's afraid of being alone by himself. Since kang seo joon is such a famous actor so he had less time to be with jiwoo which made jiwoo mad and chose to be away from kang seo joon. But finally jiwoo realized that he can't be away from kang seo joon and confessed everything including the reason why he left him

In fact Ji Woo offer Seo Joon to have an open relationship to start being together again, this time little by little, and not rushing things like before, but Seo Joon didn't agree to that and made it seem like that it was just a casual sex kind of relationship to have. He didn't took this chance to re-start a relationship that way and build it up strongly over time. 😏

In the LGBT+ community a relationship on "Partners" basis (that is the word Ji Woo uses in Korean in Episode 5) is an open relationship without any commitments compare to what a boyfriends relationship - 애인 - implies. IF you are not a gay man you won't understand how a "partners" relationship works. I am GAY, and I know what it means. They would do things together, from time to time, and have sex also when they both want to do it, from time to time, BUT live in separate places. This is the basic first step into any boyfriends relationship. In Thai we call this kind of open relationship คู่กัน - Khu Kan - which works the same as in Korean "Partners". So... I don't know how YOU understand the ways a "Partners" relationship works, but you seem not to know anything about it, na. 😂 😂 😂

This is the basic first step into any serious boyfriends relationship. We ALL normally don't move in together with our boyfriends or girlfriends from day one. We all live in separated places and do things together. That is the process most relationships go thru naturally. Here is a bit different because they lived together already for over one year, and broke up, so Ji Woo wants them both to go back to the very beginning and have the development we ALL go thru in life: Having someone we like a lot, and getting to spend time together, do things, together (including sex) and little by little build up a stronger relationship where trust and care take over with time.
