Stagecoach 18081 Dennis Trident (Voith/€3) WA04CTX - Thrash!

Basingstoke’s oldest bus and also one of the most reliable I’ve heard, 18081 is seen here in action in the demanding route 13. This was new part of the Bayline 12 batch for South West. Easily one of the finest sounding Stagecoach Tridents I’ve done, not an excessively loud engine but everything else more than makes up for it.
Kickdown and downshifts feature constantly throughout, but a few favourite moments are
2:45, 5:00, 6:29, 13:20, 16:28

She sure is a goodun this one having done her myself a few times! Sister 18077 is local to me, and I rode her for the uncountable time today!!!

Don’t blame you, I do the same with Tridents more local to me whilst they’re still here! Back to 18081 it’s really quite impressive for the age, one I’m pleased to have recorded :)
