For all those wondering.. I checked Brandon's latest Patreon update (Nov 2023) and the tl;dr is that Brandon has decided to take a break from creating/uploading to focus on other things.
This is only intended to be temporary and his reasoning is perfectly understandable.
I think it's important to remember that online content creation is a job. And in many ways it's a job like any other. That in mind, sometimes you have to take a break, sometimes life gets in the way, sometimes you need to reevaluate your relationship with it.
Brandon, you're one of my favourite creators and you have been dearly missed. I wish you all the best and I hope you are able to make a triumphant return to RUclips in the future.

@@Oldaccount77777 I'd imagine the stressful part is the prep work, the pressure of being entertaining and sharing insight on camera for up to three hours at a time, importing the footage and audio into editing software, stitching a video together, exporting said video to RUclips, making changes to avoid DMCA complaints and demonetisation, maintaining a healthy social media presence with a goal of boosting your subscriber base and keeping existing subscribers informed of your upload schedule.. then sticking to that schedule, etc.
Of course you can outsource some of the work but sweetheart, the content doesn't create itself. Behind every 10 minute YT video is often a full-time job.

I do too haha. Sucks to see him bleeding subscribers. He's lost like 3-4K since his hiatus. I know his season 16 reactions are on patreon but I'm not paying for something where you have to find your own copy of the show to watch with him. Never heard of anyone else do that. He's the editing king, I don't know why he doesn't put the show in his patreon videos. Season 16 was kinda eh anyway.
He ran into a major copyright issue and probably decided to just stick to patreon

Marlene is actually the voice actor from the game, The voice actor for Tommy was Catchline's right hand man, the Voice actor for Ellie plays Ellie's mom and the voice actor for Joel plays James....great they were included

I actually thought the video was broken or my TV screen aspect ratio was messed up because I couldn't see the face cam on the video 😂 definitely prefere the older style with the face cam on all the time.
