This is a really helpful format. Not only for beginners, but a great refresher for TLC members :)

At 34:10 Paul says "he acts like a moral realist" and you say "We all do." What do you mean? How does one "act like a moral realist"? Why would a moral antirealist act any differently than a moral realist?

C S Lewis deals with this in the first chapter of Mere Christianity. Even if we say that we don’t believe in objective moral values, we surly act like they are objective, that is the point

@@AccordingtoJohn Thanks for the quick response! I am essentially asking for an explanation and justification for that claim. How is it that people act that indicates that they act as if morality is objective?

@@lanceindependent You can think of morality as a consequence of "the objective". If the objective is living life peacefully together (human flourishing), then your morality or your behavior must align with that objective in order to achieve it. Usually we judge someone's actions to be moral or immoral against a standard or principle, a.k.a. a Holy figure, Jesus, Buddha, etc. So, generally people act morally, at least in the West, and you know this because we're not in total anarchy. Sorry, I know this is a year old conversation, but I saw your question left unanswered and I thought it was a shame.
