Interesting. In this case I think I might talk some of my one Pantheon of 7... and of the Lost Deity that fits none of the pantheons fully. Not all 7 tho. Long story short Sister Slaughter and Daughter Niightmare for instance I have brought up more than once. So my focus will be on 3 others. Father of all Lies: Dual nature of Heroes and Rogues are his thing. He loves Heroes and blesses them with feats others cannot believe the truth of. While Blessing Rogues with ad libs others cannot deny or see through. At core he wants to be everyone's savior, and in truth he strives to be in his heart... but what father of all lies could be honest even with himself. His eternal Conflict is one where he wants to help the lil guy become a hero yet in lying to himself he has convinced himself that aiding criminals is the purest form of helping the under dog; after all who else would aid a criminal... and if no one wants to help you then of course you are the one needing help. Any that converse with him must be aware that he cannot under any circumstance tell the truth ever; but the hard part is knowing if he told more truth or fiction in the lie. Because saying the sky is neon pink with safety orange clouds would infact be a lie; nature cannot be those colors really; but what he would say is more like the sky is not blue. At night time and using Crayons as the example for color its called Midnight Blue despite being a dark blue purple in truth. or the sky is a Light Blue... sky blue if you will. Its true the sky is never just a flat blue color; the lie is that the sky is normally a version of blue and in that respect it was never stated that he was talking about where you or he currently is... it could be about somewhere on the other side of the planet... in short he never clarify whom he speaks to or all the details needed to be certain its about the present time or location. After all he does not tell himself the truth either and in that insincerity he ambiguosly tells only nonsequitters in response to your attempts to communicate. It is pure BS he speaks but you might be able to gain some hint by listening anyway... after all its pure random so it could accidently be related to the topic and all tho he does not tell the truth he does state what the case is not; allowing the list of possible answers to be thinned by removing what he says of it. To those outside of his culture people fail to realize that he helps people understand the value of the truth when its not colored by bias. In understanding and empathizing with his plight, you realize how nice it is you can say the truth and that others can take your words serious. After all why would you want to be like him; and live a cursed life. Mother of Invention: Having talked of her at length before I will keep her nice and simple. So she is both creation and destruction. The brilliance of creation coupled with the apathy of destruction showcases how dangerous it is to be thoughtless about your actions. She loves all her creations equally and greatly they are her children... Now beyond those creations she is absolutely apathetic. After all she is only interested in making the next thing. She will Bless items and creations but not people. She has almost destroyed all life on accident many times. She acts as an example of why you should care. after all if you do not others will suffer. after all look at how much damage is caused by one that has no care unless its something specific and not general. Also you do not interfere with a mothers children as they might overreact and destroy you. Siter of that which is Rite: She is the most difficult deity to please in her own pantheon. She is the duality of Ritual's (Obsession) and Intolerence (hate). She is extremely OCD. She needs to control the situations she is in and to that point she never breaks from her patterns and only does the things she wants to do. That is to say that she is unbearably bossy and strict with others wanting them to mime her so her life is easier. So in the end this means that in a culture that demands sacrifice she is the example of one that sacrifices the willingness to drop things and just chill. She is a user; rather than a giver. She helps show how empty it is to only receive as she is never satisfied since she never gives and fails to see the simple things... basically Greed wrong Charity good. She cannot share because that is not part of her normal day. She is limited by her intolerance and Obsession; but is the best with what is in her narrow view and has no equal. So in this case its about being versatile but not a jack of all tades as a specialty is what your strength is. Its hard to not repeat myself... but yeah you get it. She kinda corrupts what would otherwise be a perfect society; in her dual nature both proves what is the worst and best aspect of their culture due to the negative points going over their heads. Deity of Oaths (among many other titles and names... They hold all things under Oaths and bind things to maintain Cosmic balance; and in doing so have lost their right to be named): They are symbolically everywhere in all things as ultimately all connections are related to them so its easy to forget they are important as everything else stands out more. Subtly connected to all things and nothing. In general I see Gods as having strength relative to what people idolize or praise or think about. So given how people promise things or grow connected to whatever all things count as a prayer to it. Hence why this lone deity is unmatched. No other deity is as "reference"able and so its power grows regardless of what your faith is or even if you believe in no Gods as then the belief it self is a connection to your values still counting. They exist in my stories to express why deities keep their words or will make contracts and such that they cannot escape... this one insures that all things are ultimately fair after all its true for all. The specific nature of Azazel or Baphomet is what made me think of those that seem stuck in some way.
