I Love You Guys, all 4 of you. Hi Linda, Hi Pete, Hi Val, Hi Ryan. Val and Ryan, Please Take Some Lessons, you'll get it and feel so good, so Proud as you step like a Pro with Confidence. You all made my day. I (we all) love seeing Linda and Pete Step. I'd love to see Val and Ryan stepping again after their steppin' lessons. You all Stay Blessed and Safe !
If they were stepping a long time then i was stepping in my mothers womb, my parents were stepping like that, skip, walk, stroll, you name it they did it. Taught my kids.... RIP mom and dad... In SA orig. Chicago.
I had tried to research the intricacies of this dance craze that came from bop--Chicago Step--for 11 years. I can see one distinction--Pete Frazier does a slight forward flick on the end of the Chicago Step basic step. (2 flicks actually, on his LF and then RF)
Val I'm black & I can't step either, have 2 left feet so not every black person can step ... Believe it or not there r some other kinda folk that can step they azz off !!!
Couldn't be boring to you. You read the title and clicked on it. 🤡 You can't do the dance just say that, bcuz this is just the basics. You can add to it, just watch a stepping competition.
meh.. not really impressed. Nothing special here. Its just Slow ball room dancing with a little more swing in the hips. Nothing particularly NEW or Original here.
1.They never said it was new, they said it was Chicago steppin 2. You don't ( and they didn't) swing your hips in steppin like in rumba or samba. What you were seeing was the natural occurrence of the pelvic moving in a walking movement (the pelvic movement isn't intentional) 3. It's not special, it's CULTURE!
Wow Linda and Pete can can really get classy with the stepping, always admired them as a couple 🥰
I want to learn how to step! I love this style of dancing, it's so clean and pure. Help!
Me too

Lord Jesus those 5 inch 👠 heels !! 😳😱 I cant do it lol
Is there an actual count? It seems as though there are different “step counts” based on the individual couples stepping.

I’ve been trying to look it up but I can’t find anything.
Rhythm is the first step in steppin, especially in Chicago Steppin because we're cool. Don't get offbeat and be misled.

Um, this is a Black American dance form so I you may not know the cultural relevance of steppin/boppin/swing. Please water down someone else's culture
