Hi Lois... "neutral tint" can be a variety of things.. I think Schminke is based on a burgundy colour. Which brand are you using?

Do you prefer the Neptune or the Aqua Elite mottler for this kind of wet in wet work? Thanks, Duncan

Thanks. I prefer the Aqua Elite as it is like a synthetic sable, and has a bit more spring; the Neptune is like synthetic squirrel and much softer. Both will do a good job, but it is all down to personal preference
