The weather has changed. Went from mid 90s and ultra humid, to 57 last night and chilly. Today was a perfect day for metal detecting here. 79 and sunny. It's definitely beautiful out where you are. I need to get back out there soon and search.
Glad you got the liking to carry something to cut roots. I have used an old pair of pruners over the years, and it really helps to clear vines and thorns. Ive even brought along tree loppers sometimes. Looked like an adventurous hunt and a worthy romp for some finds through the thickets.
It would be very interesting to know just how these people lived in those days and what they did from sun up to dusk. Make you think just how it must have been. And if they got sick and died where did they go who buried them and where were they buried thanks Charlie
I’m relatively new to detecting, 8 months I’m in North Carolina and don’t really have areas like you hunt but to the question, how would I recognize pewter if I were lucky enough to find some??
Either one has advantages in certain scenarios. If your hunting home sites exclusively, or you have alot of emi to deal with then f19. If your hunting deeper targets, coins, parks, relics in the woods f75. I’d prefer the t2 for a more relic leaning version of the f75. If your a true glutton for punishment and want a super powerful machine that will challenge and reward you f70/Teknetics patriot. It’s hard to learn but it’s blisteringly deep. Tough to use in a busy site though. T2/G2 gave me loads of fun and relics. But now you can get a Nokta Triple Score or Minelab Elite and absolutely whip anything Fisher/Teknetics offers. In all scenarios and for around the same price. Maybe cheaper. EDIT: looks like F/T wised up and dropped their prices a little bit since last time I looked. Still not the best way to invest in the hobby IMO
@@deltafreshrelics1660 Thanks! I mainly look for old coins but like to find any relics. My F44 has found a ton of coins and relics but I’d like to see if a different detector would have better recovery times.
Thank you Charlie!!
Thank you Charlie for the adventure and seeing some nice finds !

Thanks Charlie for your videos. Really enjoy them. I don’t find many sites that haven't been pounded already, but keep looking!

Had to trek thru the thickness but you found some great relics. Love the video😊
You never give up 😊
Every time you find an iron ring you hold it out so we can see and i expect you to say " O ". LOL
Good idea for the roots!
Hello Charlie. It was a mess, but you found some stuff!❤
Another hard-core hunt...!
Surprised you didn’t bring the crew.
Good morning Charlie 🌞😊

What did they do from sundown to sun up?
Who were they and where did they come from?

Those elastic knee braces so you don't mess up the pants.

Oh that is nothing compared to most of the sites i detect here in Connecticut and its not just small trees its thorn bushes here.
F19 or F75 ?? I have an F44 now and want to get another.
