I rode SD in 2021 and became a resident and joined Americas Mailbox since I decided to be homeless and travel full time. Week 88 😄 I accidentally attended the 2021 ADV Fest riding up there with a friend who is an ADV Rider. I enjoyed it because there weren't thousands of people there yet. I went through the museum and I was the only one in there and the girl locked the door thinking no one was there. Stunningly beautiful riding, but then you know that. Next year??? I don't even know next week, but pretty sure I have tomorrow nailed down.
Been to SD a number of times. Don't know if I'll make the ADV fest... I'm more of a chill it out kind of guy than riding everyday. Of course, RMR was an exception. :)
Hi from Scotland Amanda. You guys looked like you had a great time and loved the atmosphere there. Glad to see Spurgen and crew keeping you entertained.
*This is so cool. I have Family that worked in the Homestake Mine. I've been an underground gold miner for 20 years myself. I still love the mining history. The new hat looks great. I need to make this trip up there next year. Your video is making me kick myself for not making it.*
I'm going to try my damned-est to be there next year! Just waiting for them to announce the dates! Hubby already wants to go to Sturgis Bike Rally but I bet I could persuade him to do Get On ADV Fest instead! Would trailer the bikes to Billings and drop off the kids at their grandparents, then ride to Sodak!
Yes I have ridden Black Hills area… I live here and I love it. I’m so glad the ADV fest has been based here - much better riding than during the regular rally. Pro tip, during the regular Sturgis rally just ride the dirt roads, little to no traffic there!
Great video, as always. I haven’t ridden South Dakota on a motorcycle, but my wife and I vacationed there a couple of years ago, and we desperately want to get back there on our bikes.
I have ridden South Dakota. That short tunnel on the Needles Hwy was occupied by a family of mountain goats when we got there. We had to wait until they exited the tunnel before we crossed through. Amazing roads and scenery. I can't say whether I will ever make it back up there but it sure looked like fun.
I have been to Deadwood! My second year of motorcycling found me following a veteran rider across the country and we stayed in town, after riding through some Badlands. - I am hoping to go to the Revzilla ADV Fest next year, but it's a pretty good ride from Massachusetts. Thanks for sharing Amanda!
Love your videos and really like how you and Gary team up. I rode SD in '08. Plan to spend more time there next summer. We'll have to see if dates line up.
My work doesn't allow for me to venture too far on my bike. Home is Connecticut but New England has some great roads. It is fun that now that the bike is hibernating for winter I can watch your videos. I like that Gary has become a part of your recent adventures. Peace from Connecticut.
So cool to see this. South Dakota has definitely been in some talk for a future trip. Thanks for giving us a glimpse into ADV Fest. I’m prettty sure I need an ADV Bike now. 😂
This video brings back memories! That was such a fun event, much improved over the first year. End screen question: Yup, been to South Dakota 3 times in the last 2 years. No, I'm planning to skip next year's ADVfest. We have a costly house project coming up next summer and I'm planning a long trip in September.
I finally made it to southwest South Dakota this year on my way to the Motorcycle Riders Foundation's Meeting of the Minds in Des Moines. It's so beautiful out there! I'm not sure when or if I'll ever make it to the ADV fest, but it looks like it was a blast.
We traveled on a lot of the dirt roads around Deadwood and had a blast. I'm not sure the ADV group would consider a Harley Davidson TriGlide and off-road vehicle but we sure have a lot of off-road miles on it.
Hey Amanda, I made the video🎉. Who is the lady between you and Gary in Deadwood? Yes have ridden SD quite a few times. And yes I and my crew are reforming for the coming year. Starting our own HOA.
Really like the hat! Yes to ridden South Dakota...Might have to try for the ADV Fest next year since I'm planning on riding out to Idaho around the same time. :)
Great production, it great y'all had fun and I like the hat. Depending where it is in 2023, I'll attend next if it's within reasonable distance on my route from Cleveland to SW to Sherman NM up the continental divide and back to OH.
I know this year they did one in Spring in Mojave at the BMW Zakar facility, this is their second year at the Buffalo Chip in Sturgis, and as far as I know they're going to do it again in Sturgis next summer, I don't know anything about the Mojave one. I know we're planning to go to the Sturgis one again next year!
you will have to keep an eye on Revzilla's social media and website for next year's event announcement. here is the link to the page for this past one but they haven't announced next year's yet. But it's usually in July. Hope to see you there! www.revzilla.com/adv-fest
I rode to South Dakota from Nebraska. I was up there and asked myself "what's in the area?" and decided Mt Rushmore was in the area. Yeah, it really isn't. Issa long long way away. Did the whole Sturgis thing since I was already there, but other than the great riding I didn't see the attraction. The ride back to Dallas was so long!!!!!! Might go see my peeps in Seattle, then go to Get On from there next time around. We will see.
?? Did you go to Custer State Park? Needles Hwy? Wind Cave National Park? Badlands National Park? There's a lot more here than just My. Rushmore. A little research would help 👍
Thanks!

I am been fortunate to ride the Black Hills in 2021 and 2022. - Frank
Great video! Looking forward to attending the Get On! ADV Fest 2024
Thanks for a super-fun episode. I’m not wired up for big crowds, so it’s nice I can enjoy this event via your channel. Thanks again.
Really enjoyed the video. Thanks for sharing. I really want my 2023 trip to be to the Blackhills.
I did venture through SD this past year. I was on my way back from BC Canada and Sturgis had ended, so that’s the route.
Fun channel thanks
We have ridden SD, however not near enough
Nice tent setup
Great video thank you very well done thanks for taking us along.
Been to SD a number of times. Don't know if I'll make the ADV fest... I'm more of a chill it out kind of guy than riding everyday. Of course, RMR was an exception. :)
Live the new hat and enjoyed seeing you and brother at a festive place exploring and mingling

That tent is huge! What a fun crowed! What a great adventure!
Such a fun event! I was too shy to say hi to you and Gary haha but I’m definitely going again next year! This time with a proper off-roading bike.
Hi what bike will you be bringing?
@@thedigitalnothing KLX300. More appropriate than the FZ07.

Love the deadwood area,my great grandfather was there in 1876 from there to butte 77 and onto salmon in 78 and the family has been there since.
Loved this so much! Only a few days ago said I miss your hat! And here you are replacing it. Awesomeness! Ride safe from the UK
It's on my bucket list... I have driven through but did not stop except for seeing Mt Rushmore and Crazy Horse.
Love your videos and really like how you and Gary team up. I rode SD in '08. Plan to spend more time there next summer. We'll have to see if dates line up.

You're going to need a hat rack for your ride.
😂 I've been thinking about special hat carriers 🤔
