Nice! Like a wise man once said, "right ways, wrong ways, sideways. The only way that matters, is the easy way, to accomplish the task you're trying to complete, which the technical term I believe is, 'a win.'"

Bill, I have prob started most fires with this teepee idea. I've been watching mcqbushcraft vids for a couple months. Mike has me carrying birchbark in my fire kit as a result and proved to be beneficial in high humidity, low lying area. I haven't tried his fire building method, but he seems to be hooked on it and seems like it might be ideal for wet conditions. ruclips.net/video/JY7G3hQi8ZI/видео.html at 9:24 as an example he uses a bed of wood, followed by two controlling rods and then his stack of kindling. I plan to try his method later this winter. Curious about your thoughts. Thanks for sharing your knowledge.

I had seen that on another video but don't recall which one. I think it is a great idea because you want to get the oxygen flowing freely and easily through your bundle. The reality is this, whatever it takes to get a fire is the simple philosophy regardless if it is bushcraft or survival. Let me know how it goes and what your thoughts are after you've tried it. Thanks again for watching.

fyi my daughter enjoyed her time with you at the Georgia Bushcraft Fall Campout whilst the rabbit butcher was happening. I was very pleased with the value we received from the campout. I hope to see you there again next fall. My spring is overwhelming with business, otherwise I would go then. 😉
