  • This video provides a basic introduction to the very widely used and important discrete Fourier transform (DFT). The DFT describes discrete-time signals as a weighted sum of complex sinusoid building blocks and is used in applications such as GPS, MP3, JPEG, and WiFi.

The best video I’ve ever seen to illustrate the leakage effect! Up up! Like!

Really helpful. I just watched your 2D discrete fourier transform tutorial, and I want to know the 1D DFT, and this is the first time I understand the meaning of this equation. The equation is the most beautiful equation I ever know.
