I'm 30 minutes away in Ft Thomas and fish that dam often on the Kentucky side. Green curly tailed grubs on a 1/4 ounce jig head are our go to for all the sepcies you mentioned plus sauger. We also use 1/4 ounce swimbaits in green white and fire tiger to slay the hybrids. 2 weeks ago right on that wall my 15 year old caught a 25 inch 7.5 pound walleye on a spare 360 searchbait body on a plain 1/4 ounce jig head. Great place to fish.
Went out there out there once about 2 years ago with no luck. It was in the heat of summer though and I wasn't sure what to do. Might have to give it another shot.
Good to see. Havent been on the KY side in years. Not far down river there is a creek that feeds in and around the mouth Ive had good luck getting really big gar. Gpod times on lighter tackle.
Some nice fish and great to see multiple species. Nice that you can fish there, our regulations don't let you fish within a couple hundred feet of a dam or spillway
Dams can be fun and plentiful, I like to hit them up a couple times a year. But, I enjoy the torture of having to hike or kayak for miles to find a bite more for some crazy reason. 😝

Wow! That's a huge walleye! Thanks for the detailed intel, I appreciate... maybe I'll give some of them ago the next time I'm down there.
That is an impressive installation. The regulars sure have their systems down to a T. Wipers are a blast. This was great content.
@@stevebrockway4738 Thanks, Steve. Have an awesome weekend. 😉
I like fishing here
Crowded house but certainly worth the effort, plenty of action out there boys. Solid day! Blessings
It's always a different adventure at the dam! Thanks for watching, Brian.

Yeah, she’s not always as giving. You gotta catch her on the days when she’s not being moody. 😝

I bet the gar around that area are some pretty massive dinosaurs!
@@CincyFishDudes Oh yeah. You can tie into some monsters.

Awesome video. Got a question. Can I fish on the Kentucky side of the river with an Ohio fishing license? Thanks
Yes, Ohio and Kentucky have an agreement where you can bank fish either side of the river with a license.
I just moved to Kentucky and live not to far from there how's the fishing on the Kentucky side thanks for any info
This video is all about fishing on the Kentucky side!
Are u allowed to fish boat or kayak out from dam off that peak
I don’t think so. It looks way dangerous. I have never seen a boat or a kayak anywhere near there. I am not 100% sure though.
