This camera really combines almost everything that an ambitious instant photo enthusiast could want. It's a shame that Fuji doesn't offer us such cameras for the wide and square format. The SQ6 came close and was taken off the market. Is this ignorance or is there some perfidious plan behind it?
I loveeeeeee the mini 90!!! It was my first ever instant camera back in February 2020 as a Valentine’s Day gift and it just recently gave out on me 🥹 she shot a good 1,500+ pictures though so I think she served her time well 🥹🖤 & I would easily shoot more than 100 photos per battery charge; it’s such an amazing camera I’m hoping to be able to repurchase one soon 🥹
Hey, I was mentioned!!! :-D BTW it's Manuel Bianchi, it's Italian. And I'm a poet. I'm German actually. In the summer I might be coming to Philadelphia to visit my in-laws. And I might have an instant camera for you to make a review about, if you`re interested.
I got this camera as a christmas gift and LOVE it, so many options. Kids mode is great for taking pictures of animals. Really nice to experiment with the different modes and combinations on it. Looking forward to your next video about it!
Price for the Mini 99 is about $200, £174.99 here in the UK, and the Mini99 is available about mid April. I believe the Mini 90 is being phased out and the Mini 99 will replace it. So if anyone wants a new Mini 90 they'd better buy soon while they still available.
@@JustAnotherChris Using LEDs to change the look of film is a revolution in the world of instant photography. I’m glad they’re finding new ways to keep the medium alive.
It looks nice but the price isn’t that great, compared to the Mini Evo, they are sold almost at the same price (at least in Mexico) by now, the Mini 90 should be more affordable but it remains at $265 USD, the mini Evo is $290 and you are getting a hybrid camera. I’d like a Mini 90 but I think I’ll wait until the price gets better
Hi love the new segment where you read comments, i wonder if you could make a rating video of your top 5 cameras that u use. With pros and cons on eatch camera ? P.S honestly i made my account name before i found you on the RUclipssfere 😂
There needs to be a refresh of manual Instax cameras for all of their formats, it's kind of sickening that the only way to have manual Instax square controls is a 300 dollar discontinued camera. Speaking of manual, are you planning on revisiting the I-2 after its firmware updates?
@JustAnotherChris Glad to hear about the I-2. Might want to check the Go gen 2 as well, it's got some spec changes. About the take, I'm not as well versed in Instax cameras as with Polaroid ones- mostly just the basics. From what I know now there's this Mini 90 Neo Classic which is still selling, then there's the Square SQ6, which is discontinued and resells for exorbitant prices, and just the Wide 300 that's the equivalent to the Square SQ1 and the Mini 12 and lower. This Neo Classic could be a decent starting point for a line of manual, fully featured cameras for the Square and Wide formats, to fill out the list.
That’s a tough call both a great but ones a digital camera so that could be something people don’t like. And for the Earl ending. I will answer that in the next videos comment segment!
I love my mini 90! It's performed so well for party portraits and also kills it at taking more artsy shots. Love the double exposure and bulb features. If I could change anything I'd like the bulb to go longer than 10 seconds. Really hope someday Instax makes this exact camera but for their square format.
Yep i'd like the bulb mode to be longer and a Wide version with the features of the Mini 90 or Mini 99 would be great. Incidentally I have the Mini 90 and the Wide 300
It is also one of their best looking instant cameras. They should have these features on all of their cameras. At least flash control. The party mode is a great idea.
I bought it one week ago after a long reserach for the "best" instant camera. It takes mini pictures, it is relatively cheap, you can switch off the flash and you have those different Modes... so for me its the best instant camera! Thank you for your Video!
I’m debating between buying the Instax SQ6 or the neo 90, and I’m torn between the two. I know that both are now taken off the market, but which one would you recommend for me? I don’t really have a preference between the sizes it honestly just comes down to the quality, which do you think has the better quality? Thanks
I have this and it is the best mini camera I have (and I have 3). I held out for the classic brown. It is an eye catcher. BTW, the bold at 10 seconds with 800 film is plenty. Thanks!
Having a lot of the controls on dials makes it a decent bit better. Controlling the focus range by twisting the lens is a lot better than pressing a button and switching modes
@@nathansstuff1547 /Yep i might be wrong but the focus range on the 99 being manual means you can alter the focus range independent of the shooting mode you're in which means sports mode isn't restricted to 0.6-3.0 metres. Macro mode is the only one that's tied 0.3-0.6 metres. To use macro you have to select 0.3-0.6 metres.
Lmao they are coming out with an updated version of this with LED’s inside the camera for different color filter options. Has all the same features as the mini 90, and is called the mini 99.
This was my first instax camera!! I got it as a graduation gift almost 10 years ago. Still works amazing and my #1
Amazing!

Oh that’s awesome. Didn’t think about using that for animals! That’s a great tip!
I’m curious how this will compare to the new Mini 99.
Loved this camera! I regret letting it go sometimes I use to take it everywhere
well you can always get it back!!!
Would an instax SLR square camera be the perfect instant camera? Is there such a thing?
Nice to see a fellow Romanian interested in instant photography 😂🤙🏻

Will the upcoming Instax Mini 99 top this?
It has cool color features for film but it is things you can do with gel lenses.
Mini 99 is basically the same but it has more features.
As everyone else say. Basically the same camera in a new design with a couple extra features that most won’t use haha

What do u think about the Instax mini 99?
better than evo? in between the two currently, not sure which one i’d prefer yet
also thoughts on my names earl ending?? been wanting to ask another fan this for years

Just bought that camera used. It works fine but the lens cover doesn’t shut when turning it off. Does anybody know how to fix that?
oh dang thats bummer!!
@@JustAnotherChris it’s ok because it doesn’t affect it but I was wondering if there’s an easy fix. It’s probably just dirty because it wasn’t used.
That could be the case. Hopefully it’s an easy fix!
Releases this as the 99 comes out
No better time!
@@JustAnotherChris Fair haha. Probably the best time to buy it with it being a bit cheaper than it used to be.
How did I not know about this camera? Drool
well now you do!
Well it's been around for about 10 years
Keep reading those messages 😊
I think it’s here to stay!
Why didn't you read my comment ?? lol...
hmmm next time maybe!!
The mini 99 is way better
And why is that?
Well… Considering the Mini 99 today’s launch… This isn’t the best one anymore.
who says the 99 is any good in the first place?
@@JustAnotherChris Why wouldn’t it? Mini 99 is a revision of Mini 90. New tech, more features, same quality.
I think the 99 is the buy for anyone that doesn't have the 90. Just having a full warranty is reason enough now that the 99 is out.

I have one . Love it. Which setting is party mode? I did not see it when you went through the settings. I did not know my neo classic had one.
It’s the first setting. The icon is of 2 people
The Q&A part is actually a good idea you should continue this

I think the mini 99 is just like this one but with light filters
pretty much!
Also the vignette switch and more lighting control modes.
