I don't know why everyone visualizes angels as cute little cherub wimps, especially since almost every time a human encounters one face to face in the Bible, they're told to "fear not!" That set me back a bit - I was nervous about the metal part. But I was pleasantly surprised. I thought it was awesome how those guitars and organ sounded like a whole orchestra! Mr. Vasc's voice has amazing energy - and this song definitely needs that energy. As you put it, it's a heralding song that calls out its message.
