Awesome talk, My GF just changed from 40/80 to 30/75 after this talk, also now after we finish a dive here I will be staying under till every1 gets onto a boat cus Ill be the last one to get on the boat as a DM anyway might aswell spend that extra 3-5 minutes underwater at 3m

Thank you for sharing. When recommending to use air tables for EAN (Nitrox) it's imperative to mention to cap the depth at ~30 meters. Many air tables go to 40m where the PO2 with EAN32 would be 1.6 - an unnecessarily high risk of CNS toxicity (in recreational diving).

It does not make sense to generaly say "do not dive deeper than 30m with nitrox"... Nitrox is not just EAN32... If you want to dive to 40m on Nitrox, use EAN28...
So a general rule is unjustified and, quite frankly unnessecary... Thats the same as his example with the rule "the first dive of the day should be the deepest"...

I've been using 35/70 with a last deco stop at 20' (using Shearwater Perdix). When deco is cleared, I very slowly ascend to 10' and do an extra five minutes as a safety buffer. Then a slow swimming ascent aft to the ladder. From the presentation, sounds like I'm on the right track. We dive buoyed wrecks in the Great Lakes.

What an excellent talk! Thank you!
I wonder if it's suitable to add another factor under "dive profile"- during the dive one should avoid going up down up down (in Israel we call it YO-YO diving), such dive may help silent bubbles pass the pulmonary filter and promote DCS.. If it was mentioned or unsuitable, I apologize.
